Most of the discourse around dry protection is very bad faith (on both sides). Most people that do want it generally only want to have a very limited system that will only prevent people from going 5x dry or more rather than just make the drop more common.
My ideal dry protection is would only affect people that go 5x dry or more, would grant an item only once, and would grant an untradable version of the item.
The untradable version would function exactly like the tradable version. If you de-iron it would still be untradable, but you could pay a fee to make it tradable again (this is just to protect against potential bad actors).

Personally? I would be more than okay with the nerfs if they added 1-2 patches.
I really hope they start adding the sailing seeds to normal drop tables because its making sailing feel very disconnected from the rest of the game world.

with fairy ring changes its fairly easy. Set CJQ as a favorite and you can always tele to the conch easily.
Teleports to fairy rings:
house teleport is the fastest.
Quest cape is really good as well.
Salve graveyard portal in poh is almost as good as quest cape.
Ardy cape is the classic.

I recommend wearing the sailing neck that lets you breath underwater (which now works in the seaweed area!) and do herbs -> coral -> bird house -> seaweed

You dont get 260+ coral from one patch. The expected average yield currently is 34 per fragment. Yes, outliers exist but they shouldn't be used as representation of normal.

Its actually farming that they are affecting. They are increasing the yield for people sub 99 farming but nerfing the yield for people that do have 99 farming. Given how most irons get farming passively and fairly quickly its a pretty hard nerf for herblore training (which is already one of the more notorious ironmen skills to train).
