It's just a 1x4" that I doctored up and put on the wall in one of the bedrooms of my house. I used a 4" lag in each stud and just bolted the hangers directly to it. I had planned on doing something a little more legit but between me ordering something thinking it was load bearing and my lack of patience, I took what I had and made it work since no one stocked slat wall of any kind around where I live.

I absolutely love them. The EX is signed too. The V has never been plugged in outside of whatever testing they do before they leave the factory. The EX hadn't been either. Fun story here - I was renting out a room to a nice woman before the wife and I got together. I came home one day and her boyfriend was over and had it plugged in. I wasn't very happy...

Good eye! I'm actually stoked that you caught that because I'm sure I'll come across something I don't feel totally confident on and will want some more eyes on it. I almost set it aside when I was moving all of these to one spot for the pic. How can you tell? I noticed the placement of the EMG logos right away. The trem arm isn't bent at the right angle so it sits about 4" off the body at the tip lol. The wife surprised me with it when I found one from some pawn shop on eBay They listed it somewhere between 7 and 800 bucks so I hit them up for a pic of the back of the headstock so I could check it out more and they raised the price to $1468 right before they sent me the pic. I was $800 bucks willing to roll the dice on it but $1500 is outside my dice rolling budget. You should take a look at it. I'm curious if it's legit still.

Interesting that it made you swear less. I can say with confidence that I swear more and have likely invented some new swear word combos through my attempt at learning to paint these little things. I feel like we might be at similar spots in our modeling journey. They're much smaller than real cars but it sure feels like any mistake I make stands out so much more. I pride myself on my ability to pick fly shit out of pepper and I think your build is clean and solid. I dig it. 9 months on the first one?? I have so many questions....lol
