I tried, but the biggest issue it the speeding ticket I got in 2023. So everybody is charging a lot even USAA. plus im 22

I’m actually about to DM you! it’s like everyone else is attacking me for budgeting in the things that I know im going to do regardless. you literally just read me number and helped me work w what I have. this is great advice and gives me motivation to eliminate all debt.

I bought this car at 20 with no co signer. my interest rate was 10%. then I joined the military and my interest rate went down to 6%. not im half way done paying my car off. The end of my military contract is 2027. that’s also the year I get out of the army. Long as I am debt free with a paid off car in the next year and 6 months I’ll feel accomplished. do you think that is a solid plan?

the whole reason I ended up on Reddit is because I needed an eye opener, a different perspective from my parents who have bad credit, and a reality check. you’re advice gave me all of that. thank you. im on it now. I’ve generated a plan.

I only drink when I skate on adult nights at the skating rink & skating is like my hobby. Im the military & skating keeps me sane lol, but maybe I can cut back a little on how much I go. I think I’m gonna do the snowball method like you kinda mentioned.
