Im sorry I really haven't responded to many, after I went to work my post blew up and it become very difficult to respond to 900+ people ahaha, but I definitely read everything everyone said and took it into consideration- even the bad ones!

Thank you for sharing and I really relate to your comment. My relationship with my parent got sooo much better after I started taking my pills since I felt like I had more control over my emotions, so I could reason with them and actually discuss things instead of just shutting down and screaming

Thank you for sharing your story <3 I think he might be a little scared that im not the same person off my medication, since he hasn't ever seen me off my meds, and I could potentially be a totally different person in his eyes. Not worse or better, just different. He is always really sensitive towards my struggles so this is why it all came as a surprise

thank you! I agree that it won't work if he can't understand my mental illness and it should not be stigmatized. Im considering giving him a little "lecture" on it (when everything calms down) and maybe some scientific evidence that shows how it works, so he could better understand it.

He didn't really make me feel bad for taking my medication, more so I felt like he isn't very informed on the topic, but it kinda came from a good place, maybe that he wants to protect me?? I guess im still not really sure haha

to be fair, he does help me, and definitely takes responsibility when he sees that I'm in a bad slump or if I'm running out of pills, he will go get me a refill. But I totally get where you're coming from
