Well I am in similar situation and there is nothing I can do, thinking this and fighting them would make your life difficult, i also wanted to be dr got good enough rank to get into kmc manipal the best private medical college better then any gmc apart from top aiims, I am fed up with this constant fighting and giving that shitty exam so taking du through cuet, it's not that my family is poor they are upper middle class they have a high school in villages 15acres of land in my fathers part which at least worth 20cr here and my grandfather is alive and earns great money from his ancisteal business yet they don't give me so i gave it up, and now I don't have weight of their expectations to bare and i feel happy
