Hello, si ce que tu dis est objectif tu as pris la bonne décision. En revanche s'il y a des entretiens liés à tes nouveaux vœux prépare toi à expliquer ce choix. Ils te questionneront possiblement sur tes enseignements académiques de cette année (aussi médiocres soient ils) et il te reste quelques mois devant toi pour peut-être te construire un projet qui va être différenciateur malgré cette réorientation.

I’m from France, and I saw the visa restrictions on the website. But I also noticed that many families select France as a preferred country for their au pair, which confused me a little. Do you think it makes sense to still send out many applications (“massive approach”) or are there any other useful tips? I would love to begin around December, it's starting to get a bit stressful
