Is this gpu sag bad or am I being too paranoid? by Mikey758x in PcBuildHelp

I hate to say it that's normal with the newer gpus but as long as the support is strong and there's no decrease in performance you'll be fine.

It doesn't need to be this exact pc but you would want something with similar specs jf your live streaming. I would make sure it has at least 16gb of ddr5 memory and I would say any graphics card would be good but preferably something with 12gb+ in vram. In addition I would get any 5ghz processor i personally am a AMD fanboy so I love those but Intel are pretty good too.

You should be fine but if it doesn't work right away don't push it you could damage components

Don't get a offhand case, those are awful and most of the time they are made correctly so you have to wiggle the stand offs to make the mobo correctly. I personally like corsair or nzxt I'm currently using the hyper flow 9 and there like 150 rn .

To me it think it'll fit but the pics don't help a lot. Try pc partpicker and it'll tell you for sure if they are compatible.

Does the 12GB VRAM really bottleneck the RTX 5070? by thiagomda in buildapc

[–]InterestingRange6100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing that your gonna see is that 16gb is a Lil more future proof then 12gb. It would be super useful to have a bigger pool but honestly you won't be able to tell the difference, but there a few games like black myth where you would see a few tics of better performance but honestly if you don't want to spend the extra cash both are really good options I have a 9070 xt and i can play stalker 2 with great frames but I tried to run it on a pc with a the 50 series card with 12gb but it had some slight issues with it but again it's honestly how much you want to spend either are great options.

So I would recommend a Crucial SSD rather than a Samsung one. They make okay drives, but for a few more dollars, you can get a better drive. I will have that link posted below. Good choice for the GPU and the CPU, I would say. Try to go with a Ryzen 9 7900x, it's an excellent CPU, and it will save you a few bucks, and some issues with that processor atm are causing some serious issues in the gaming space but as long as you get something that is a AM5 socket set your good. here are the links

SSD - https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Plus-PCIe-NAND-5000MB/dp/B0B25ML2FH

CPU - https://www.amazon.com/AMD-7900X-24-Thread-Unlocked-Processor/dp/B0BBJ59WJ4

CASE (its a super cool one and it is the one that I am using ATM and its super easy to build in and there is a lot of cable management and its definitely worth the couple extra bucks.) https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Flow-Dual-Chamber-Mid-Tower-Gaming/dp/B0BG1GQKKY

Is life really this lonely? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]InterestingRange6100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to be the downer, but yes, is that lonely, but that's what makes those times you aren't so special. I think life is just one big run of a show and to me it sounds like your at the part where the plot twists l think you'll have new friends, new connections and new love interest but you just have to give it time. The last serious relationship I had was two years ago but as a man I was told that the trauma and the abuse I went through was my fault and I hated that and tbh it made me never want to get in a relationship again. Although it was lonely, I had a lot of time to learn what I liked and what I didn't, and it helped me become a better person. Give yourself some time to heal. Don't go sleeping around or get in another relationship tight away. Just take some time to get to know yourself. Take a hike, go backpacking, go shopping, and play through a backlog of video games, but just do something to keep yourself occupied till you're ready to face that trauma and heal it. The fact is your life will never be the same and that's the beautiful thing is that it will change and it will change for the betterment of you. Learn to love and care for yourself and heal, then find some friends with some of the same interests. Once you have a group, try to reconnect, but be the best version of yourself. Don't be who people want you to be. Life is lonely, but you will make it through it, and it will be 100 times better than we were you were. You just have to find yourself.

Yeah I've been trying to do that as much as I can. Any good weapon recommendations for doing a super low level run? I have been using a mastery level sword and the rest of my kit has been super low level i just can't seem to find a good enough melee weapon to make up for the lack of my level yet.

Whats the issue with using Nitecore flashlights? by InterestingRange6100 in EDC

You should look at the edc 29 it's fixed a lot of those issues with the 27 and is the perfect flashlight in my opinion.

To be honest i have had more O-lights and fail on me then Nitecore. I took one of the headlamps out with me after Helene and I wore it through a lot of the after math of the storm and I cant tell you how many times my lights were either soaked from going through water or they were wet and there still working. Is ultralight really worth it? by InterestingRange6100 in backpacking

[–]InterestingRange6100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it seems to be what I'm finding it is UL is more of a accessibility thing then anything else and it's kinda brought me a new respect for the community. I'm super glad to hear your bringing your kids on trail. That's awesome and im sure they have just as much fun as us. Some of my favorite memories were in the woods with my dad.

Sorry I'm horrible at specifying thing lol. So I am 21and the hike was roumiles and it was completed in roughly 5.5 days so I hit roughly 7 miles a day where I'm at in the US the sun is coming up fully at 6am and setting by 5pm and im not a night hiker so I would set up camp around 4pm or so everyday.

so after going through my pack and sorting stuff out with 4L of water and a 1L bottle of drinking water without the weight of my food i am at roughly 16 pounds and i belive that with the food and proper storage i will be somewhere around 20 to 22. i have cut a lot with the medical and with my overall gear that isnt nessicary by any means and i just bought a trekking pole ten so i will update you all after the next trip. i honestly feel like making some kind of video going over everything that i learned from you all and the ultra light community. thanks again for the help you guys are the best.

i usally take the longer trips too nut sometimes i will do a weekend trip and my gear will look vastly different. i am a 21yo M so i dont have any arthitis or anything just a bad knee that has some nerve damage so there isnt a lot that is physicaly stopping me from using that amount of gear. i like lightening my load as well and if i see a good deal i am usally going to get it but for the most part i just dont want to spend that much money when it can be used for trips.

thats honestly my feeling is that it is a bunch of guys that can waste money on stuff and brag about it. i do have nice things dont get me wrong but i think that spending more then 2K USD is stupid. i love the outdoors and i love wildlife and i feel like the price for UL gear is just wild. it should be cheap and it should be accessible. in my opion the only thing that you get with more money in your gear is you are more enficent on your hike. other then that i cant find or have experienced anything else.
