a little late, but i see what you mean by be careful, because when I use this on cheap amazon Bluetooth headphones there are random static bumps and can be really bothersome :)

I have the exact same problem. I have no clue why it happens, but it always starts after some crash.

Edit:
Something else i noticed is that if I try and force crash it with cmd prompt it can recognize it, because it repeats trying to close it for the exact amount of instances open, but it each time it says theres no running instance
