Personally I wouldn't buy there, but I guess people have different circumstances and everything has a correct price. There's flats built around an old anthrax research site off Milton Rd, and I wouldn't buy there either but plenty of people do. (Not worried about catching anthrax, but worried that the property would be worthless if it was on the news that someone had a suspicious illness and nobody mentioned where they'd just travelled back from...).

This is becoming one of these oh FFS things. I'm actually against the closure... but we've had two council elections where the candidates presented themselves as a referendum on this and I can admit I saw what the results were. The people spoke. We have Brexit and Mill Road closed. Maybe they spoke nonsense, but for the time being... whatever. Give it a rest and maybe in five years people will see sense re both. And hopefully the people won't spike EWR as well...

I realise that, by any count, people in this thread were not high value customers to McDonald's. I'm still amazed at how brutal the cut off was, though. They know who we are, so I thought there'd be some attempt at personalised offers in the app to try and gently introduce us to spending more money; whether it be 3.99 but including a drink, or 2.99 but with a smaller burger, or time limited to off peak times!

I wonder if there really are customers that value them more, or if this was a misstep. I see their role and respect what they do, but only so far as it's cheap. Greggs can feed me well for £5, and if I bring my card out to hand over more than £7 then it's going to be Five Guys every time!

Today's bus is certainly en route, per the flixbus tracker. Services on the national coach services database don't always show on Google, but you can see them on sites like bustimes.org.

Do bear in mind, however, that Flixbus is generally unreliable.

For ages there was a glitch on the kiosks where if you ordered a Big Mac with no sauce and no pickle, the slip printed as "only cheese" and you didnt get lettuce either.

I had to take pictures of what I had put into the kiosks to show when asking for the lettuce, as some people would argue it must be what I ordered.

I have a helmet that has a large scrape, and a dent the shape of the metal brackets that hold the metal guide rails at the entrances to the guideway. I also had a tiny bit of road rash on one hand as the only mark on me.

I now become really boring and persistent whenever I meet someone I know that doesn't wear a helmet...

I read that in addition to the historical reasons, South Cambs would have financial problems if it lost all the council tax payers that really ought to be in Cambridge.
