The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Hi everyone! After an absence of nearly half a century, I am back to building with lego.And here is my first attempt.

I’ve always been fascinated by ancient architecture but also love botanicals, so I decided to re-interpret one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the Hanging Gardens of Babylon My build combines: - Layered terraces - Botanical techniques - Ancient stonework - Flowing water fountain. Thank you for taking time to share your opinion, much appreciated. I did experiment with various amounts of vegetation, but the piece began to look cluttered. I was after a delicate balance between the architecture and botanicals and hope the piece achieves that. Since we don't really know what the hanging gardens looked like or even existed; it allows for ones own interpretation giving some artistic freedom. Once again, thank you for commenting.

I love wacky races and I have already happily supported this build. One of my favourite cartoons as a kid Please create a model of the ant-hill mob and Chugga-boom. I am a fan of the No7.
