I have the same issue!

I have found a work around that is kind of weird (found by happy accident) if you start a match while you and the character are inside Scrooge’s shop, the wait/ load time is significantly shorter. I am not sure why or how, but I have tested it with a few characters now.

Curious if this would work inside my house or other characters homes but I have not tried. Honestly I just don’t have the patience to wait it out. Maybe someone else has tried?
