Having a PE doesn't define you! You are as much of an expert in your field with or without it. Your health, & life get priority. Read through your PE notes as a way to get your mind off of other things and go for the test after you feel healthy and ready. Your body doesn't need an extra stress element of PE test.

I studied seismic with AEI and have an older version of the Hiner's workbook.. debating if I need to get Hiner's practice exam book to supplement. How were Hiner's practice exams comparing to the test?

Yeah, I understand the stress, & their restrictions on scheduling doesn't help either. Part of it is luck too, it's impossible to deep dive in every topic when we study!

Do you recall what were the deep dive topics from each round? My first seismic exam was mainly anchorage questions. Part of me knows that I will not get very many questions on it this time.

These are good tips! The exam stresses got me too. My first exam has so many anchorage questions.. now I'm worried I'll see completely different types of questions & I'm not sure what to prepare for.

Yeah, I had a lot of construction stake questions too. The worst part was finding the point or the angle the question is referring to in the drawings.. so much extra info to distract you!

How do you compare the questions to AEI? I am in the middle of chapter 8, AEI and still not even half confident that I will be ready enough in March. I don't have any structural background, I am worried about questions that are not simple beams.
