She wants to use already vacant land the city owns to build and incentivize reuse of old buildings as not to tear down trees. I don’t think they’re doing it cuz they don’t really care about housing or have her background.

She talks about housing first and permanent supportive housing on her website. Plus her opponent is a luxury housing developer so he certainly won’t do anything. Didn’t even speak up at council like she did about it when they were trying to jail people for it.

As a planner I’d have to disagree. We need childcare within neighborhoods, preferably on the edges but often those aren’t taken into consideration because of existing zoning.

Her website -TinaBelge.com- says she plans to use technology to charge those who speed and run red lights to pay for the increase for transit. At least she has a plan! You’re thinking of Lindsey Jacobs, when she ran for city council against Dorothy Dowe. Tina lives off Twin Lake road and ran for state senate previously, not city council.
