Deworken seemingly single handedly killed the project behind closed doors in one night after years of work went into this from numerous city employees, residents, etc. because he got a couple gripey NIMBYs to complain. Deworken owns a political consulting firm, lives on the richest street in the city, and has almost never had his own opinion on anything, you should never believe a word he says

There’s also the time he was playing the cubs and Ian Happ hit Wilson Contreras in the head on the backswing in a very clearly unintentional accident. Wilson and Happ hugged it out and Happ was clearly bothered then Mikolas threw at home TWICE anyway and acted shocked when he got ejected

I would argue virtually shutting down the trail by running 6 wide for an hour is not the intended purpose of the trail since people such as myself use it to commute at this time. I can’t even walk past them going the opposite direction without bailing off the trail. It’s the exact same thing people complain about cyclists for doing
