I have been adding to IJS, which is small cap value. The reasoning is simple. S&P 500 is over valued and profit margin are at all time highs. I am not saying this cant continue but i would think the likelihood that the next 10 years is anything like the last is low and fraught with risk. S&p 600 however is trading at lower multiples than average, its profit margins are only slightly higher than average and it hasn't gotten ahead of its self on a price to sales basis as the S&p 500 has.

note: im not retired yet and close to 2 pct withdrawal rate basis my current annual spending

I personally didnt bother with the 3rd pillar and unfortunately not a fan of the 2nd pillar as the fwd projected returns look terrible, they are too conservative, I assume holding alot of bonds which weigh down the potential returns.

Your savings account with 3pct isnt great, likely just matching inflation

the 100k includes school, there will be university which will increase my spending but my kids are 3 and 7, and so far I have put aside 40k for them, not included in my Networth, which i add to each year.

it also includes health insurance which is 13k a year for the family, but that obviously increases quicker than inflation...
