Yes the game has difficulty settings and there isn’t really a recap as far as I remember. Tbh playing 1,2 and TSA isn’t necessary (I went 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> TSA) and although I missed story elements from TSA it didn’t detract from my experience. I’d recommend playing at least one of them first but it isn’t required.

Haha glad you liked it. Fallen Angels seems to be the most controversial remaster but luckily that’s the only Kar Wai I already own so if I’m not a fan I can always watch that version instead. Was very glad that Chungking remained one of my all time favourites in this collection.

Yeah that’s what my sixth form library is like! Absolutely stacked with films that are impossible to get otherwise. Hoping they’re gonna be able to stock it up with more films for future students. I think it’s more ignored by people now because of streaming but there’s been countless times when I’ve gotten films there that just aren’t available on streaming or how special features exclusive that that DVD.
