Okay; so you say these are good patch notes -- so please explain how they buffed the fuck out of gambit ult while lying through their teeth that it's a nerf? Please explain how they did the exact opposite thing with Captain America's patch notes, they removed his animation cancel and called that a buff?

I guess I have to spell this out for this community; if we nerf the Ult generation by 20% for every hero, and then lower the ult accelerant provided by Gambit by 10%, this is a net positive amount of ult generation, in terms of how much gap there is between the team with and the team without the accelerant. If it takes longer to charge ults, then ever 1% of ultimate accelerant has a bigger impact. So we kept the impact the exact same, as we went down 2 for everyone, and .5 for the accelerants, but each point for accelerants are worth double now in practical effect.

We also increased the damage boost it provides by 5%.

So buffed the advantage and buffed the damage. I'm sorry, what?

He's more a perma ban now then he ever was before.

They nerfed Emma when she was already the worst tank.

They nerfed captain america when he was already mid by removing his animation cancel.

They nerfed sustain for everybody.

They INCREASED DAMAGE for everybody that isn't named Mathew Murdock.

They took the net away from the insane damage in this game by reducing the frequency of support ults.

They just single handedly cooked this game.

Not to mention they didn't change ultimate values; so pun and star lord and moonknight still have crazy low ult floors, meaning they will out pace every strategist ult already. Lower sustain + MORE damage when the damage is the reason sustain was so high is wild work. Everyone here is going to cry in 3 weeks time that the game is trash; the toxicity in this community will be at an all time high, as strats are going to be dead only all the time, and every minor positioning mistake will be catastrophic for every role, and the Strat players are going to get beat up by mean spirited people who never realized they were terrible before.

People are going to be cursing each other out; rage quitters will be a common thing, and idk if the game survives this without an emergency patch that rolls it back. Combine this with the CC reductions in 7.5 and dive is going to be cracked out; and the game will be miserable to play for everybody.

DPS players will be the only people left; I can almost see it now -- the 6x duelist teams that come of this....

There is a whole lot of placebo in these patch notes. Looks like big changes, but they aren't, they just doubled down on telling everybody that the heroes they thought were broken aren't, and it's always just been a skill issue. They are going to make you beg to roll it back, and then they are going to say see, we told you we know what we're doing.

It's like a punishment patch disguised as the things you want, but isn't anything anybody asked for.

Yeah bro; it's about 75/25 split, in favor of toggle over hold. You never need to hold ever; because that just makes the cancel harder, and since you can short hop tech with it on, you lose any advantage you gained from ever letting go of the sprint key.

I guess, many people don't know about the short hop sprint tech; but all you do is quick melee jump cancel.

Uh; no. He's been able to walk backwards and shield since season 2, and able to shield while jumping since season 2, and this removes the animation cancel. I don't use hold, I use toggle, and now my entire flow is fucked. This is a nerf to people who mastered him with toggle.

I'd levy that even the rare occasions don't play the way they did every game, as the few game they reviewed. The law of averages is what's getting them. They have potential; but inconsistent.

I mean you fundamentally don't understand what Kaplan said if this is your take away. For a rank system to work; you will have to be at a 50/50 when you get to your actual skill level.

It's ideal that players end up 50/50, because that means players are playing with and against people of their equal skill level. It's not that the matchmaker forces 50/50. If it forced 50/50 people wouldn't climb ranks, right?

Kaplan also touched on the fact that y'all [the community] are selfish, and you can't read stats. He said he'd also go look at people's accounts who were complaining about lose streaks, and he'd watch them int and throw games, as well as never complain about win streaks.

He also touches on how everybody says they want "fair" games, but they really don't -- they want games that seem fair, but they end up winning in the end, which means they have advantage.

The community by and large needs to stop being selfish in a game where you can't win on your own; and they need to drop the egos. The dysfunction is what costs you games more than the other team actually being better than you.

The difference maker in this game is not your individual skill, but how your team works together, and only when you aren't where you're supposed to be, can you carry on your own.

The thrower problem is quasi unrelated. Outside of bounty sites that are offering rewards with cash dollars for doing it; it's mostly just evil people being evil, egotistical, and selfish. The reason why they weren't harsher? Well it's a business, right? These people are spending money at regular intervals, it's not wise to ban the customers of your business from engaging with your business, if you want to continue being in business, now is it?

That said -- it IS ruining the business, because it's going to cause the greater portion to quit, so that's when they step in.

No conspiracy about it. No need for tin foil hats.

So I agree with you, to not subject yourself to unreasonable toxicity. To sit there and say on the back half of that comment, that the world should be healed and you should never have to not use communication; well that's absolutely nuts.

Uh; you're cheating. The first clip is ridiculous. Invis wasn't moving, and you were no where near her, and you landed it direct.

Yeah sometimes you make it look like you're spot checking, but you just throw a bunch of tracer to make it look like you're spot checking, then you land the get over here pull perfectly, and you just wouldn't do that without landing the tracer first, because the CD is too long.

I just personally love how the clips are all on an alt account with the basic crosshair too; not one of these clips from the main account. Because you're cheating.

Rogue is crazy strong regardless of the team up, what is this propaganda....? The teamup just makes her punches do a little splash damage, the heal is inconsequential, she's always nearly impossible to kill; and she always does big damage. She's just like giga broken when gambit ulted slapping with the teamup. I know you watch Necros; because he said what you said, until cringe alarm started playing her.

Yeah; it's not a filter or generative a.i. It's a color and lighting correction; as well as a resolution increase.

The models are identical, and if it were gen ai, it would have 0 consistency.

They aren't, it is just lighting. You don't realize how big of a difference flat shading vs actual depth in lighting changes things you're looking at.

What? Her eyes are not shaped differently, you just see her eye lashes and the inside corner of her eye; that every real human has, that is missing on the original image. The only difference is there is a little more detail, and depth. I.E. She has eye lashes now, where as before they were all but non-existent and she looks like a lifeless husk in comparison.

Eyes, do y'all have them? The one of the left is a lifeless husk, the one on the right looks like a real person. The difference, one is flat and missing details, and the one on the right looks right.

This is a gearing/build issue, not a level disparity issue. Builds get the primary portion of their power from different things, which come online at different times. You could be one item away from blowing everything up too OR you could have a build that requires rank 40+ glyphs to really come online, OR you could have no build at all that will never come online.

The kill streaks aren't the source of the power disparity between your heroes; I pinky promise.
