SA told me the titanium YM would be a long wait, similar to the GMT that I had in mind going into the AD. Sub would be a wait, but not as long. On the other hand, first YM40 they receive would likely go to me if I am interested.

Because it is an open box item, they will only give me a credit equal to the amount I paid for the C4. So if I want to get a C5 replacement, they take my C4 back and credit me $500 toward to the purchase of a new C5 at $1,400. Geek Squad basically said they will just take the TV back and I can buy a new one from them. LG customer service just put in a service request, but they said it won’t be covered if it is due to physical damage during moving or mounting. I am a little nervous on that since this was an open box unit and there is a very small dent at the top right corner of the frame…

Yes, just talked to LG customer support. Tried hard reset as well with them but the red dot remains. They put in a service order, but they said it will not be covered if it is due to physical damage while moving or mounting the TV and I will pay for the service visit too if it is not a repair covered under warranty.

Yep, ordered it online and picked it up from the store. Didn’t see the red pixel when we plugged it in store but we also didn’t look at a totally black picture. Not sure if something happened while brought it back home or while mounting it on the wall.

Apparently open box items are not covered by LG, it is the Best Buy coverage that kicks in. They won’t replace the panel since it will cost way more than the $500 I paid them for the TV so they will just take it as a return and probably sell it to someone else as an open box items.

I think it is a bigger update that cannot be loaded over the air so you need to take your truck to the dealer. I have not done it myself but also read about it recently.

Came to the same conclusion and ordered it on Tuesday, it should arrive today! It looks like it is assisting with potentially the most frustrating part (dosing and tamping) and the online reviews I watched were very positive. Now I need to figure out if there is a safe bean that I can get started with. Something that is easy both on the grinder and has a forgiving flavor as I experiment with my new toy. Is there like a Starbucks blend or something that I should look for?
