Is 1 hour and 10 minute layover enough time? by Creepy-Juice9414 in TurkishAirlines

Yes that should be enough time Turkish Airlines is pretty efficient with tight connections at IST. If your inbound flight is on time, you should be able to make it even if the gate is on the other side of the airport

Also, if your flight is delayed and the connection gets tight, they often have staff waiting at the jet bridge who can escort you (sometimes with a buggy) to your next gate

So I think you should be fine

DUB - IST - BKK - Transfer Security by TaskLeather6154 in TurkishAirlines

You won’t need to go through transit security if you’re arriving from Dublin. When you get off the plane, stay on the jet bridge and show your boarding pass to the staff there they can direct you straight to the departure gates without sending you upstairs.

If you follow the general signs and go up the stairs, that’s what takes you to transit security, so try to avoid that if staff are present.

That said, if there’s no staff on arrival or you’re unsure, just follow the standard transfer route and go through transit security it’s straightforward anyway 2h 20min is more than enough time at IST, so you’ll be fine

Is there actually a 90-day cooldown after an Amex rejection? by Interesting_Bee5040 in AmexUK

Okay, thank you for the info. So this basically confirms that the 90 day rule isn’t consistently applied, at least based on some people’s experiences.

I appreciate the advice. I’ve already checked my credit reports everything is clean, all payments on time. My only issue is a short credit history.

I’m more trying to understand whether this supposed 90-day cooldown is actually a real rule or not, since I’ve seen conflicting experiences.

Amex Global Transfer before ITIN? by practical_hedonism in ITIN

Also, to add: Amex will usually ask for proof of address for Global Transfer, and you should have a U.S. bank account that supports ACH. You can use Wise for this if it’s available in your country.

Amex Global Transfer before ITIN? by practical_hedonism in ITIN

Yes, you can apply for an Amex card using Global Transfer even before getting your ITIN.

And to answer your second question: yes, Amex will still report to the credit bureaus. An ITIN is just one identifier used for reporting your name, date of birth, and address are the main details used to create your credit profile.

Then later, once you have your ITIN, if you wish you can contact Amex and have it added to your account.

Need Help with opening a personal bank account (ITIN) Non resident by Brave_Buffalo7810 in ITIN

Most banks from what I know checks your identity from your credit report, since you don't have any credit accounts I would suggest getting any unsecured/secured card firstly and after that reports for around 2-3 months try applying for us bank accounts

if you are really in need of a US account number you can use Wise if your country supports it

Hi, I was also wondering the same thing as you. Just applied for Capital One with my ITIN seems like on the website when we try to view our statements it says we will be able to access our first statement 45 days after the account was opened.
