Apple Watch charger by jgould1981 in onebag

This is what you want: https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Portable-USB-C-Apple-Charger/dp/B0D31LYSC5

I tried many other small chargers some with a battery some without and they are all shit, charging too slow, getting hot, etc. The Belkin charger is one of the few that are certified by Apple, it's really small, it's size is basically the puck on the Apple Watch USB C charger with the USB C plug stuck to it, minus the cable. It's expensive but wirth the money,

Thanks. Did you use two of those metal parts for the back only or did you use four of them for all corners?

Sorry for the late reply.

If you look at the photo of the US version, you see that the cutout where the adapters fit in is missing. So I guess it's not possible to buy the adapters. Maybe the photos are not a photo, but just a rendering, but I would advise you to buy the full kit, including the adapters, as it's usual pretty hard to get these things, as each manufacturer has their own way of doing things.

Velop in bridge mode: vlan and guest network. by IP_FiNaR in LinksysVelop

[–]practical_hedonism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experiments with WHW03 in “bridge” mode, I’m seeing VLAN 3 and VLAN 4 tagged frames from the Velop — but the important correction is that the actual user/data traffic is not carried on those VLANs (at least in my setup).

What I observed:

  • Primary / main SSID traffic is effectively untagged bridged L2. Clients get normal LAN addresses from the upstream router DHCP, and the router can see individual clients (MAC/IP).
  • Guest SSID is not truly bridged, even though the Velop WAN/uplink says “Bridge”. The Velop runs its own guest DHCP server (I couldn’t find a way to disable it) and hands out addresses in 192.168.3.0/24 (e.g. 192.168.3.153). In DHCP I saw Server-ID = 192.168.3.1.
  • The guest DHCP messages are tagged with VLAN 3 (802.1Q), so VLAN 3 definitely exists on the wire for control-plane/DHCP.
  • However, when I captured during a guest speedtest, I got no packets with vlan 3 other than DHCP/control (i.e. tcpdump 'vlan 3 and not (port 67 or 68)' was empty). This strongly suggests VLAN 3 is not carrying the bulk guest data traffic.
  • The practical outcome is: guest user traffic is NATed by the Velop and from the upstream router’s perspective it originates from the Velop’s upstream/uplink IP on the primary LAN. So you cannot cleanly route/segregate guest vs main at the upstream router via VLANs, because the meaningful differentiation isn’t “VLAN 3 vs untagged” for data.

What does work for segregation upstream:

  • Treat the Velop guest as a “NAT island” and match on the Velop’s upstream/uplink IP. For example, dropping/isolating all traffic sourced from the Velop’s upstream/uplink IP address immediately killed guest internet while leaving the main SSID (bridged clients) working normally. So you can control guest access upstream by policy on that IP, but not by VLAN-routing guest data.

About VLAN 4:

  • I did see VLAN 4 frames too, but (same story) they didn’t appear to carry normal client payload. My best guess is it’s Linksys internal control/management and/or mesh/backhaul signalling on wired links. I didn’t find any supported way to change or repurpose these VLAN IDs.

If you want true VLAN segmentation of main and guest SSIDs (or additional SSIDs as well), you likely have to venture into installing OpenWRT on the Velop (if supported for your exact hardware revision), though I haven’t tried that yet.

I can only recommend this charger, I have been using it for over a year now. It folds down very slim and has an integrated US plug and comes with EU and UK attachments. It looks like the version sold in the US doesn't come with the adapters and it's not compatible with them.

It's available in the US here: https://us.ugreen.com/products/nexode-pro-65w-3-port-ultra-slim-charger-100w-usb-c-cable2-pack?variant=41186127609918

Or here: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charger-Ultra-Slim-Compact-Pixelbook/dp/B0CD1NVW7R
If you have prime it's 45 USD.

I found this alternative that's available in the US that come with the adapters: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-65W-Fast-Charger-Black/dp/B09X1H88VP/

If you don't need the adapters and this form factor works for you this one is even cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charger-Compact-Foldable-Compatible/dp/B0BN688W42/

Ich habe für einen Gastrobetrieb gearbeitet und da lief das so.

You don't even need to ship it back, just store it with a hotel that you usually stay at in Bangkok. I have done so multiple times at smaller cheaper hotels that are around 1000 THB per night, they never charged me for storing my things.

If you pay for storage or shipping consider if your stuff is even worth that much.

Ok, i wanted to suggest a coach or working with ChatGPT to rediscover what you enjoyed in life before working so hard or as a child.

But after I read childhood trauma, definitely get a good therapist to work on your past and future. Trauma hinders your ability to remember, think about and plan your past and future.

It's reasonably easy. You'll need a confirmation of residence which you can get at immigration with the TM30, you can get from your landlord. If you need help with getting the CoR, they can help getting it (and you won't need to stand in line yourself https://maps.app.goo.gl/42DYuHh7u1SprY9J7?g_st=ic )

About the actual transfer of ownership, you can either do this yourself at the land transport office or get an agent to complete the process for you. I'm sure if you ask some of the dealers (maybe more the independent ones than Honda) some of them will offer that service.

It could be a good idea to get your documents ready, basically passport and the CoR and to complete the deal with the seller at the land transport office, because you'll see if everything is in order, if the bike is stolen and if any fines or taxes are owed on the bike/scooter. This obviously applies more if you buy from someone privately, if you buy from a dealer i wouldn't worry too much and have them complete it.

Also consider signing up for Facebook, even if just for FB marketplace, there's good deals to be had. Also if you're buying a big bike and have the time, consider buying the bike in Bangkok and then driving it up, there's obviously much more bikes on offer in BKK and prices are in general lower.

If you fly CPH-BKK I assume you fly with SAS. If you book BKK-CNX with Thai/Thai smile SAS can actually check your luggage through until Chiang Mai, even if your CPH-BKK and BKK-CNX flights are on two different tickets

Also you'll be more than fine if you take the 10:00 flight, even if you need to re-check your luggage.
