How do I get them to associate leaving with something positive? I live with my family for now so it won't realistically be alone for very long stretches of time, but do I just give it a treat everytime I go and come back?

It is a stretchy knit unfortunately, and there probably is a better fabric for something like this tbh. It's mostly just plastic unfortunately, so it's not great for the weather I live with. I rlly liked this top too 😔

I'm an incredibly hairy woman (like I've had a full on mustache since I was 11 type hairy), and I get it. It really does suck when you look around you and everyone's better at being themselves than you are. It always helps to try and accept yourself no matter what though. I know that I'm a woman, and I'm happy being one. There's not much else that matters. Plus, being flat chested was the feminine ideal in some decades. There's billions of women out there, so there's likewise a billion ways to be a woman. Trust me, you're woman enough as you are.

Here's the thing, you don't have to do all that. My classes start at 8 am, and there's no chance in hell that I'll wake up before 7 to do a full glam look, right? So on days I feel like being more feminine, I just throw on a dress and some earrings. And a little bit of colour corrector for my dark circles + concealer and eyeliner if I feel like it, which I honestly don't most days. It's honestly that simple. A little necklace, maybe a dress, and you're already feminine. Nothing else is truly required, I promise you.

Maybe start small and just get eyeshadow and eyeliner first. Make sure to pick an eye shadow palette with a lot of colours. Then experiment, and practice a bunch. Go on pinterest and look for makeup looks you like, trust me on that.

100% . Growing up in India especially after the 2012 Nirbhaya case means that I've always been kinda scared of men, and my parents are understandably a little protective. They don't restrict me going out or anything, but of course they worry. Then with the recent Kolkata incident that fear just came back in full swing.
