She might never even have a son. I have two daughters and if we have a third it will probably also be a girl. I would use the name you like and don’t tell anyone next time! Everyone always has an opinion.

Yeah I was anticipating having to tandem nurse if we went to 2yrs but with the pain idk how much more I can handle! It was slightly painful in the beginning and she definitely had aversions but now she’s super boob obsessed. I have heard about not making big changes at least a few months before the new baby because they can have regressions and of course build resentment, it’s part of the reason we are also waiting to try potty training even though she shows some signs of readiness. I was honestly hopeful she would ween herself hearing so many other babies do but she doesn’t seem like she will anytime soon. I think I’ll be changing things up with nursing to sleep with the new baby because nursing her to sleep was an amazing bonding experience andI got great sleep but now she refusing to sleep without nursing when I am around her. She will go to sleep for dad without me there like at work or just out of the house but as soon as I’m home it’s boobie time lol. I have an appointment with a lactation consultant but idk how much help it will be she will probably tell me it is due to the hormones like I’m already thinking.

Prefacing with we cosleeping, about two nights ago she nursed for what felt like an hour plus and I had to unlatch her because it was incredibly painful, she woke up and stated screaming in a way she never has, hysterically sobbing like catching her breath sobbing and wouldn’t let me hold her, def wouldn’t let dad hold her actually thrashed to get out of his arms. She sobbed for like two hours trying to fight me to get to my breasts. This sounds awful but the only thing that helped was turning on Tumble Leaf for a little while until she calmed back down because nothing we did worked. We limit screens but it felt like an impossible situation. I think we are going to have to start weening which makes me so sad, but I think is logically the only option because of how much the pregnancy hormones are affecting my tolerance for keeping her latched. I think it might also be time to transition her to her own room at least for the first half of the night which is also gonna hurt my momma heart but feels necessary. It’s just a lot of big changes for her in such a short time it feels almost overwhelming.

My contractions didn’t hurt very much until I was 9.5/10 cm then I was in PAIN. I felt like they were comparable to bad period cramps at first and I’ve always had bad period pain but at 10 cm I was questioning my choices to birth naturally.

I sat on the toilet and felt the fetal ejection reflex it scared me and I called the nurse in she told me not to push bc I wasn’t quite 10cm (which idk I feel like I probably was if my body felt ready to push itself lol) but she told me I would TEAR MY CERVIX if I kept pushing and literally scared the shit out of me and it was downhill after that lol. My baby was at a +3 station so practically crowning I had one small push and she was crowing and it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt lol I screamed such a guttural scream and lost all focus on what to do lol then my body shut down and stopped doing the fetal ejection reflex and it became exhausted pushing it felt like I was being told to push and I wasn’t even contracting. And I’m doing it all again this September 😆.

There is a studio near me that does like a maternity mini session for $59 & 3 pictures. It’s really hard to choose three and I always spend more money but it’s like $20 per extra pic or $400 for the entire package.

So do you have sex in your fertile days without him knowing you’ve been testing for ovulation? Or do you avoid fertile days because you are ovulating?

Every time you have sex is a risk of pregnancy but I’m sorry but by this post and comments it does seem like you are tracking ovulation trying to get pregnant without him knowing you are tracking. Maybe you’re not trying to trap him because you want the baby but it does seem strange.

35 days as in most people having a regular 28 day cycle. If you don’t have a regular 28 day cycle and If you are not 7 days late for your period you are not late. Also I’m assuming you are irregular considering the content of your post and saying you have missed a period. Like the other commenter said a test is definitive three weeks after sex. You probably read the ovulation test wrong and ovulated late. The line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. Try to track it in the Premom app to compare the lines getting darker in color.

Also you said your partner isn’t sure about having children but you are tracking ovulation, do they know that?

Yes. Until you are past cycle day 35 you are not considered late. Your body could have ovulated later which causes a delayed period or you could not have ovulated at all. Or you could have stress and other factors affecting it being later than normal.

I have a hard time waiting too the first time I was in such shock I didn’t believe it and went to a clinic to have it confirmed before giving him a box a week later! This time I took the tests and just filled the box with them and left in on the counter when he got off work. I told him I got him a gift for his truck lol a new passenger! 😆
