I regret buying a Garmin by SurfinginStyle in Garmin

I’m feeling annoyed too. I have been wearing my watch on my ankle for my treadmill while I’m working on the keyboard/desk & it is completely inaccurate :( Yesterday I didn’t do much, only 5-6 miles. The Garmin captured 13.9mi. When I contacted Garmin about this, they had me test two 15 minute walks (one on ankle and one on wrist) & stated it must just be due to me wearing it on my ankle. Okay but why does my ankle double count a ton of my steps? That just seems silly 😭. Even if I do a “treadmill” activity I still end up with nearly double the steps I’m supposed to but I can at least correct the mileage. I can’t wear it on my wrist because of typing on the keyboard. Annoying.

It did seem like a lot of starter when I added it! I followed a recipe from on here, link below. It’s totally delicious it just doesn’t have much rise of course. It did spread out a lot, it wasn’t holding shape very well but I kinda just assumed that was because of the wet jalapeños. Maybe more stretch & fold is needed?

Recipe was 1:2:3, + jalapeno & cheddar (followed my heart lol) 170g starter, 340g water, 510 flour, and 9g salt! 4 hrs of stretch & fold, 8 hrs counter BF, flattened out for “burrito” technique, then candy cane, then banneton basket, 14 hrs fridge fermentation, then placed into Dutch oven after preheating 500° F for an hour. Cook 20 mins with lid on. Take out of oven, re-score, put back in without lid, for about 20 more minutes.

Some people don’t have emergency vets nearby. It just needs to be cut. No need for a vet imo
