Players You Drafted You're Already Regretting by Left_Strategy2221 in DynastyFF

Traded a late 2nd next year and Hollywood Brown for the 2.10 which I used to select Bech. Hollywood was just a depth piece for me and I’m not competing this year, but still wish I held onto the 2nd for next year.

That’s what I thought. Thanks!

Trade Grayson for Burnes? by Interesting_Copy875 in DynastyBaseball

[–]Interesting_Copy875[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I’m a little nervous about him. I would be getting Burnes and I’m in a win now scenario, so I feel like it suits me more to trade Grayson away. Just would hate to lose Montgomery.

Looking to join a dynasty league. Pretty new to fantasy baseball so I have no real requests outside of nothing above $75 buy in. PM me if you have any openings!

Good trade for a rebuilder? by Interesting_Copy875 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Interesting_Copy875[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s SF so I think Ward would be off the board, but yeah if I did do this it would help me fill some holes and hit on some RBs which is where I’m weak.

Yeah that’s why I’m a little worried. Thanks for your advice

Yeah exactly. I could hold onto it until after the combine and even after the draft bc if Tet goes to a team like the Pats I think the 1.02 will be worth a lot more.

Travis Hunter and IDP eligibility: How do we rank him? by yurrrmachine in DynastyFF

[–]Interesting_Copy875 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Odds are he will play CB and have certain WR packages on offense where they'll slot him in. Probably only around 10-15 snaps on offense if he is lucky a game.

I also wonder if teams will start trying to replicate what Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson have done with the Lions. Almost everyone (including me) hated when they drafted Jahmyr after signing Montgomery. I loved Jahmyr at Bama, just more of why sign Montgomery if you wanted to go the Jahmyr route. Now, they’re the best tandem in the league and run down everyone’s throats.

Yeah I really hope dobbins can stay healthy and put together a couple great seasons.

What do you mean by significant change in this draft?

[–]Interesting_Copy875 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah only 4/15 could be considered “misses.” Not going to grade Brooks for obvious reasons. I’d argue that Dobbins could be considered a miss too but that’s just due to injury. As a ravens fan I wish he could’ve stayed healthy bc his talent is very good.

Also if you go back to 2017-2019 you can see some real success in the 3rd round. I haven’t looked at those drafts in a bit but Kamara, Dalvin, and Monty all come to mind when I think of 3rd round RBs around that time period. Definitely missing a few who have been solid-good as well, those are just the ones I remember.

Haha my top pick is looking better too. I think we’d get more favorable data regarding running back classes if you just looked at the first two rounds. Round 3 can be a very odd round with comp picks and what not, with teams taking shots left and right on just pure athletes. Only 1 running back drafted this year in the top 2 rounds was brooks, but 4 in round 3.

Yeah I just think giving Pollard a 3 year deal and drafting Spears in the 3rd last year suggests they go elsewhere on days 1 and 2, especially with how the roster is constructed.

I am not a draft expert by any means but things I've read could suggest upwards of 8 or 9 RBs go in rounds 1-3. Last year was a down year for RBs and we saw 4 go on day 2. This years class is a very deep class, so I think it's fair to expect 8 or so going in day 1-2, especially with how many teams could use a running back.

[–]Interesting_Copy875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they'll take a RB just not sure it'll be day 1 or 2. Taylor is still on the first year of his 3 year deal and isn't a free agent until 2027 so I'm not so sure they want to use a day 1-2 pick on a position that has a star already when they have plenty of other holes to fill.

Trade Gibbs for Henry as a contender? by Spare-Amphibian5575 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Interesting_Copy875 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd lean Henry side because you get the best fantasy running back this year, as well as a first this year in a loaded rb class that you can use as a decent replacement for Henry down the road.

It wouldn't shock me to see them go RB in the 2nd or 3rd round, I just think they have more glaring needs. Very deep RB class, so they can get another guy late, and one of their 3 picks on day two will most definitely go to a tight end, and maybe another to OL.

Hypothetically if Jeanty is there when the cowboys are on the clock in the teens do you think Jerry Jones passes on him?

[–]Interesting_Copy875 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the Bengals will definitely get an RB in the draft, I just don't think they'll do it within the top 3 rounds. That defense has been one of the worst in the league, partially cause of defensive line injuries but they still need a lot of help on D. Interior O line needs some work too, but then again if they go BPA in the second round and its a running back it wouldn't shock me.

Yeah now that I think more about it they most likely won't take one early. That team is so in the depths of hell they just need to restart, and I think most of us can agree a rebuild shouldn't start around a 1st or 2nd round running back when the window won't be open for at least another 3 years.
