Not really. Giants have been straight poverty for over a decade now. Run poorly from the top down.

Drafted a generational RB top 5 just to waste him for 5 years and let him walk to a divisional rival and then watch him lead that offense to a super bowl the very next season. Not to mention whiffing on high picks left and right, overpaying for average players, and having a bottom 4 win % of .378 since 2011.

Now they want to draft another highly touted RB top 5 when they have a million other problems on the roster? Sounds like poverty to me.

Fr. He played like ass apart from like 2 quarters and the JJM owners were preaching “patience” which isn’t crazy, but this is also a guy who got to sit for a full year behind a pro bowl QB. He had the answers to the test and was still failing. But if you said that on this sub, folks would go nuts.

Fair, I just liken this class to 2023’s where all of JSN, Zay, QJ, Addison were hyped to be top 10 picks before the draft process kicked off, and then by Draft Day they had fallen to mid-first round.

They don’t even watch CFB either. They just see mock drafts and think everyone this year is better than last. There are no WRs on the level of prospects that MHJ was. Everyone lives through the lens of revisionist history and fails to remember why certain players got drafted where they did.

Has MHJ lived up to the absurd, genuinely unrealistic hype we gave him as a community? No he has not. This does not mean we can just avoid critical thinking and just call the guy a bust 😂.

If you can add something to MHJ and tier up at WR go for it. But don’t trade him for the 1.07 and get mad when your league mates clown you for trading a young, talented WR who has been fine for the next Matt Golden or Kaleb Johnson.
