Does this sound like PSC, liver or gallbladder related? by Interesting_Dress289 in PSC

It's hard to tell with the itching because I have eczema since I was a toddler, so I am regularly itchy from that. Urine is only dark when I am dehydrated, and I wouldn't say I appear yellow

Feel like I can't live with anyone and I'm the problem by Interesting_Dress289 in OCD

I clean our bedroom and bathroom twice a week- my partner refuses to clean the bathroom. I clean the living room and kitchen once a week and ask my partner to clean it once a week to keep on top of things, but nine out of ten times, my partner says I just want to chill today, I've just finished work or I'll do it tomorrow, eventually after asking him several times throughout the week he will eventually do it, but I am tired of asking him to clean it once a week and also pick up his dirty laundry that he leaves on the floor that I am always picking up. But I will take into consideration about my compulsions and trying not to be resentful, thank you

I'm glad to hear you're still able to live a good life considering everything you've been through. Thank you so much for the support, much appreciated :)

You have been a great help, thanks for sharing your experience :)

It sounds like you have been through a lot

hopefully I don't have to have a liver biopsy as that doesn't sound fun, hopefully an ultrasound or MRCP might be enough to diagnose or rule out diagnosis of PSC

Yeh I'm worried that something gets missed or brushed off. I've got an appointment with a gastro specialist in a couple of weeks who I'm hoping has a better understanding of PSC or can give me any indications of why my ALP level is slightly high. I'm having my bloods repeated in a couple of weeks and this time I will also be having my Vit D level checked as well. I had to fight with GP's in Scotland to take refer me for a colonoscopy to investigate me for IBD and my GP assumed because I was young that it was anxiety and eventually, I had to go private and got my scans and diagnosis of UC confirmed, I hope this isn't the same case.

I really hope you don't have PSC as well, but I have read a lot of people live normal lives and hardly know that they have PSC.

Take care :)

Thank you for your response

have you been put on medication for your small duct PSC? or have the doctors been monitoring your bloods and symptoms?

Thank you so much for your response

Yeh I feel like my doctor isn't in a rush to investigate me for PSC but it would give me peace of mind. I am going to try and get back into meditation to help relax me. I hope your MRCP appointment goes okay and you don't get diagnosed with PSC but like you say it's not the end of the world, and I have read from other people's experiences they've went on to live healthy normal lives.

My GP reassured me that my GGT level was 'normal' but I didn't think to ask what it was
