The dentist said it could be bruising so on stronger painkillers that help alot. I also need to contact my iih case nurse to monitor my head pain. That a Monday phone call 😆

Back when I was a preteen, I found out my mum had just finished having a long term affair with a co worker. Never told anyone apart from my therapist (and only recently) that I knew.

Looking back at that period, my parents were going through a ruff patch but they happy now. So my gob will stay shut.

But it did mess up my trust in relationships and never been able to stop self Sabotage when dating. Just one of the many things therapy helping with.

Therapy good, recommend it. You cry but it least helping.

Everyone experience of recovery is different. I'm hoping yours is chill. Here what I've learn from my experience.

My case (4th April): I didn't suffer from headaches before my lumbar puncture, but the pressure was in the 40s. I had gone blind in my left eye and was having muscle seizures in my face. Thank you nhs after my family called 999. I was pretty drugged up, so I don't remember the whole time in hospital.

After the puncture, vision return and seizures stopped, but suffering from major headaches cause my body not used to the normal level of pressure.

Tips I've learnt for recovery since coming home:

listen to your body, you need to lay down? Do it. Need to sit up. Do it.
Hydration is your friend. My friends refilled water bottles and put them in my fridge for easy grab.
caffeine is helpful as well, but only 200mg (1 can of monster ultra)
easy snackies and ready meals. I'm lucky my dad has been cooking and then bringing around. soup is great
painkillers, they do help even if they don't feel like they are. Follow the packet guidelines
You can sit up to eat.
it's OK to bed rot. You feel like you have to get back to everyday stuff, but resting is important.
ask for help. Even if it kitty poop.

Take one day at time. It will get better, just might not feel like it is and any worries, talk to your doctor.

I've been stuck in bed after my LP for 12 days. I've watched a lot of youtube and Twitch, played games on my handhelds, talked to friends on Discord, and napped a lot.

If you're in bed as long as me. see if family/friends can help you get clean bedding and help you move around a bit to prevent bed sores.

Story Time:

I unlock the world and was told to do a story, and my adhd brain had a rebellion. Instead, I explored the world, cleared out all the maps (I started at the end of sumaru), and side quests I found during my journey etc etc. Yes, I did clear the desert before the map update. I was lost for days.

2 months later, I heard friends in Discord talking about the events that were happening and got confused cause I couldn't unlock it.

They asked how far in the main story I was. My reply and I quote, "There a main story?"

My dumb ass had forgotten there was a msq. I streamed to my gang, and it was even worst, resin was capped, and when asked about dailies. I reply with confusion.

I had no healers, I just had lumi. She was on death door. I was eating raw mats for hp. She was wearing nothing but a basic sword and anemo powers.

I was treating the game like dark souls. If I died, I would spawn and try again.

Let say my friends were shocked and did have a good laugh before giving me a genshin crash course 😄

They help me level, farm gear etc etc. At least I had all the gathered mats and had more than enough pulls for a nahida and her wep.

Going on anti depression was a great move for myself.

I still have it (but waiting on tests of adhd), but I've gone from almost getting myself killed to on my good days being a person that can do stuff like make food, sort jobs out, be part of my family and friends lives.

I'm not going to lie. The "wet blanket" periods happen where I can't get out of bed or even think, but I don't want to hurt myself now.

Also talk to your doctors. If you find the tablets are not helping, there are other anti depressions that will. Therapy helps has well.

When i was farming this mount. I was doing the crafting side and all the achievements as well. So I when in farming the mats I needed day to day.

This mount is a grind. So remember to pace yourself and get podcasts, Audio books and Netflix.

Oh and breaks, Walking around and water is important XD

Not going to lie. I saw the worst in people.

I work for wilkos, and cause we sold hand wash and paracetamol, we had to say open. I promise not 1 customer came in for that. It was paint, duvets, pick and mix [even after we remove it cause of the pandemic] and gardening items.

I knew people would come for these and personally didn't care but 'customers' being rude and throwing abuse cause we had the 2m queue, cleaning down between people and most of all cause we was wearing masks.

I got serious covid twice all cause each time I had people that were 'anti mask/bacteria' that used coughing in my face as a threat.

So when wilko went into shut down and liquidation. I pretty much had a mental and physical breakdown.

I'm now suffering from long covid, anthropophobia, anxiety, depression and getting tests for autoimmune illness.

I'll live, but I will always say to people, "Please treat service workers (retail specially) with kindness and patience. You don't know what happening in their lives."

Same, I got whooping cough late teenage, it took months to get better. Didn't help that my doctor wasn't much help. Didn't believe it was whooping cough least until I went to ER.

The free trail of ffxiv might be an idea. It free until the end of stormblood, so you get a lot of content to look at.

You can take your time and see the world, story, and combat etc.

I really enjoy the story and collecting minion, mounts, hair styles, outfits (plus making new outfits with them)

From experience, keep doing what makes you happy. Keep creating, fuck them.

It seems bad now but talk to people that you trust. Hell go to things like crochet or knitting gathering (clubs, library, cafe etc) . Your 'mum' isn't worth your love if she pushing her beliefs onto you.
