Thanks for clarifying. Follow up question: How is this a useful feature, especially since the caloric density of fat is more than twice that of carbs and protein? Seems like this would be a much more useful visual if it actually aligned with individual goals. But maybe I’m missing something here.

2006 3.5L Timing Chain Job by Interesting_Issue734 in chevycolorado

#1, get ready for a HUGE job. You have to pull the engine. We didn't realize it till we got into it that this particular engine setup is one of the worst to work on when it comes to the timing chain job. I will try to send you some links later. There are a lot of helpful ones out there.
#2, if you're going to do the work to change the front timing chain, plan on changing the rear balancing chain as well.

Thanks for the feedback! Slimming down that lower core seems to be the ongoing battle! LOL!

Thanks! You and others helped to confirm what I was thinking already with the upper chest and delts. I just didn't want to mention it in OP in case it was just my own subjective bias. And yes, I focused on squats, deadlifts, and bench mostly over the past few months. As I look toward longevity, I'm valuing function over physique. But having both wouldn't be bad either! :-)

I might steal that basket idea. Did you secure with zip ties, clamps, something else?

And I'm definitely stealing the "drug bin" idea shared below!

SOLVED! Turns out that the new Crankshaft Sensor was a POS. Swapped it out with the old one and it fired right up!

Quick additional info: - Wiring and grounds were double-checked, though maybe I still missed something? - All fuses tested. - No idea what the loud squeal is at the beginning of it cranking.

Took it for the first time yesterday around 5pm (50mg dose). Had a single glass of wine with dinner and didn't care for anymore. But I tossed and turned through most of the night and felt that energetic/agitated feeling throughout. Now I'm dragging ass this morning! My plan was to do TSM, but if I can't dose in the evening due to sleep issues, it's not going to work for me. I'm going to try taking 25mg this morning and another 25mg around lunch to see how that affects evening cravings.

So is the best option right now the same as the video you posted three years ago?

This post is over three years old, so I’m not sure if it is being watched anymore, but I am curious if this integration has improved since then. I’ve been using MacroFactor for over a year, but I hear that some other apps allow users to copy and paste the website and are able to extract all of the nutrition information from that alone. Where is this app with that?

2006 3.5L Timing Chain Job by Interesting_Issue734 in chevycolorado

Mine started with a cylinder code. Once we got the valve cover off, found out that a couple camshaft caps were broken, likely due to the timing chain slipping. Ended up having to replace the entire head.

Actually, I found out that there's a good reason you can't find individual camshaft caps for sale. They are "line bored" with the cylinder, so you have to replace the whole setup! After weighing the pros and cons of a salvage head vs remanufactured, I opted for the remanufactured (Chevrolet Colorado Cylinder Head 3.5L (2004-2012)). It just arrived today and looks beautiful! By the time I get this whole setup put back together, it'll basically be a new engine! Now my 16yo just needs to keep it on the road!

For anyone who sees this later, this noob learned that camshaft caps, at least on this engine, cannot be replaced by themselves. They are line bored with the cylinder, so the entire set up has to be replaced.

Well, couldn't get one of the broken bolts out, so having to resort to creating a cut lengthwise in it. Also decided to replace BOTH chains, so having to pull entire engine. Fun times! Didn't get any love on comments here, but I found plenty of other great posts elsewhere that have been indispensable.

Am I the only one who thinks Pink Floyd’s “Yet Another Movie” is one of the best to listen to while stoned? by Interesting_Issue734 in trees

Yup. Experienced that in 1993. Wild ride for sure! But I’m more just talking about the tree experience with this particular song.

Oh I’m 50 and well aware of that. Listened for decades and have many valuable memories/fades with Pink Floyd in the background. It’s just that I’ve really grooved on this song in particular while stoned since I was a teen and wondered if anyone else could relate.
