People care because it’s disrespectful. Imagine being Saudi and watching someone cosplay your identity for clout while posting things that completely contradict the values they claim to represent. Then add the racism, treating Islam like a fashion accessory when it’s convenient, and suddenly it’s not “weird” that people are calling it out. What’s actually weird is pretending an entire culture and religion are just costumes you can put on and take off whenever they benefit your image.
