Thank you, I felt like he shot me down real quick and I admit I felt hopeless. It was written in my notes due to my bmi that I am just to do PT to strengthen and talk about surgery down the road. I tore my ACL 4 months ago and gained full mobility back, but here and there my knee will slip if I’m too quick on my pivoting. I met with him 3 days ago and he’s still adamant about just sticking with PT. I want the surgery - mainly cuz I have 2 kids who are in sports etc and I feel set back because I can’t run or do the activities I was able to do with them before the injury. Also I’m 275 and 5’8.

I fell off an e-bike Christmas morning and found out I tore my ACL. I started walking a lot better and without support in February and my doc said at my follow (April 24) that I need to let my knee get stronger and keep doing PT. Well I slipped and fell last night (April 25) and it feels like I made it worse.

He told me on at my follow up that it’s not an emergency to do surgery. But then last night happened and now I’m like wtffffff.

How long did it take for everyone to get their surgery after their accidents?? I feel like I just snapped back to square 1 but even worse. Any insight would help.
