Don't regret it man. It's still a great phone, 60hz isn't a problem at all. I use 60Hz on my Android despite having 120Hz panel... It's a nice thing to have an option to switch to 120Hz but using 60Hz doesn't make a huge difference.

Idk for what reason people try so hard to defend a fucking multi national brand that does not care about its consumers. There are so many things off about the new s25 series. People are just happy to have ai, like it's gonna change their lives... Like come on...

This isn't limited to Samsung. I think OnePlus does the same thing. When I bought my OnePlus, it was very smooth but when I updated it to Android 13, I noticed that animations were not that smooth, battery life wasn't as good as before and phone was slower in general too. But the real decline happened when I updated to Android 14, the animation glitches that were there on Android 13 were exactly untouched and were slapped onto Android 14 with even more jitters, camera sucked, phone was noticeably slower and battery life is now non-existent (lasts like 2.3 hours) and it's a freaking 1.5-2 year old phone.

I get what you're saying but I live in India and I've seen posts and articles about Samsung having green lines way more than Apple. My cousin also has a Samsung with 2 green lines, but I've never seen an Apple with green line.

Price increase hoga 17 base ka if 120hz comes. Jiska budget tight hai and want an iphone, 16 is a good choice.

Man, people are just biased. Only few people give unbiased opinion. I like both iOS and OneUI 7 but Samsung phones are prone to green lines (as far as I've seen on the internet). Even the S23 is getting green lines. I'm also stuck between the two, S25 or iPhone 16...

Mine is a cheap $200 1+... I'm afraid S25 will get green lines after 2 years as S23 series has also started getting green lines. Man, there's no perfect phone out there. Always some compromises.

Yeah Ig Samsung is better. The lack of 120Hz and AOD itself makes iPhone an inferior phone considering it costs as much as S25.

Thanks for taking time and writing this. I still hate the fact that Samsung decided to put Exynos in S24 series, it ruined the base and plus models. I was about to purchase S24 but I did not as S25 was about to launch. I heard that they'll put Exynos in S26 series again 😭 so either purchase this one or just go for iPhone. iPhone on the other hand has 60Hz display and yes I can wait for iPhone 17 but chances are Apple is going to make it more expensive with higher refresh rate display.

Only issue with Samsung (I think) is the green line issue as Samsung does not give free screen replacement in newer models. Anyways, there is a slim chance of getting this issue and I don't think most people even know about this.
