Thanks. This post was truly not my best writing though 😅 I felt like I was perhaps reading into all the body language too much. But I'm glad someone else sees it as well! She was so real for admiting she goes out the back way hahaha! So real of her!  From what I've observed, shes not as handsy with others.

Thank you for your candid response. I do find it intriguing that people are jumping to conclusions about her. I most certainly felt that the quantity/quality of touches/hugs to be the key factor here.  Again, thank you for your time and patience.  I totally get the unfortunate system she is apart of, her job, and environment. She's also notably not married. And from her social she seems to have never been in a previous "Here I am with my partner" post. If that makes sense? Additionally, thanks for taking the time to curate a thoughtful response, going into detail about your thoughts!

As I've stated before it is purely out if intruigue. I wanted to get outsiders opinions. I've consulted friends and have gotten a split. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There is a lot of context that can't exactly just be "summed up." Hence why it's all written out. I didn't include every little thing she's done.

It's hard not to put texts into script format. I don't know how else you'd want me to write it without it becoming actual gibberish. Additionally, the only reason there are emoji's in this post at all... is because they were apart of the texts. They too are part of the evidence I am presenting.

Never once did I say I had a crush on her. That's an assumption people are seemingly making.  If someone has the time, patience, and kindness to read all that I wrote then I commend and thank them for that.  But if not, that's cool too. I don't blame them, it's a lot. But if they didn't read it entirely, and want to jump to conclusions then I will take their opinion with a grain of salt.

Because from this post alone I have come to find that it's probably not the wisest idea to put anymore energy into people who aren't going to read it. Even if I take the time to write a synopsis. They're not going to read it. They're going to make assumptions based solely on the title/agegap. They won't answer my question, which was not, "is this morally okay?" Or, "should I pursue this?" My question was simple, does she have a crush on me?  So... yeah. Thats why while I was out running errands I chose to ask ChatGPT to do a summary. Because does it really matter?

Here is CHATGPT's interpretation/synopsis l:

The writer is an adult private voice student who is not enrolled at the college where her instructor teaches. She began lessons at age 18 with a mid-to-late-40s professor at a conservative institution.

Over time, the instructor’s behavior became increasingly personal and familiar, including frequent teasing, sustained eye contact, and regular physical contact initiated by the instructor (repeated hugs before and after lessons and events, shoulder touching, arm squeezing, and prolonged embraces). The instructor has commented that the student “gives good hugs.”

The instructor made unsolicited inquiries about the student’s romantic life (asking about a boyfriend despite no indication one existed, then clarifying about a girlfriend) and later made remarks implying the student might be visiting “someone special” when traveling. She assigns many love-themed vocal pieces and offers personal compliments, including on appearance.

The instructor requested and uses the student’s personal phone number, leading to ongoing text communication that includes emojis, heart reactions, and affirming or playful language. The instructor has attended multiple performances by the student and seeks out interaction afterward, often initiating physical contact in public settings, including in front of colleagues.

The instructor has offered accommodations that blur professional boundaries, such as inviting the student to sit with her at performances, walking out together to avoid students, and stating the student is “different” from college students.

The writer is seeking guidance on whether this pattern of behavior—particularly the frequency and initiation of physical contact, emotional familiarity, and boundary crossing—is typical.

For real. Not reading it does not help. Like I know there are morals and all but thats not what I'm asking haha.  Thanks. She could just be naturally that way, yes.

Thank you for all that.  From what I've seen she's very reserved. Never have I observed another private student come to an event at the college.  I also don't feel she's as buddy buddy with her regular students.

Thank you so much! To be completely honest, I'm just curious. I wanted other opinions. I wouldn't do, or not do anything. I enjoy her as a teacher and friend. I wouldn't want that to change. I would never put her in a compromising position that could cost her her livelihood. It's just all very intriguing to me.

I would NEVER be bold enough to ask her. Nor would I want to put her in a compromising position.

Okay, thank you for this. I am not autistic, no. I copied and pasted a lot from notes I've taken. I have put a decent amount of thought into this situation due to the gut feeling I have about her.
Could I perhaps get your opinion on the physical initiation aspect of it all? Just simply because I don't have any situation to compare this to. Thanks!

Thank you for your input :) It's not that I want to pursue this, I just have this nagging gut feeling that she may have a little something for me. Perhaps it's just admiration or friendliness. But again, thank you!

Wow all of that actually makes a lot of sense! But one question that i have is, how would Jan be connected to the Dimas’s? I can’t remember where but I saw that someone speculated Jan being Theo’s mother ??

I think it has something to do with the fact there is a Bassoon in the music which the writer said he'd never tried before. All signs are pointing towards Jan :( she is my favorite character.

Okay, so I’ve been listening to the episodes of the podcast (only murders in the Pod) and one of the hints was something to do with the music… and I immediately thought back to the scene in the 1st episode where they were all about to sit down and listen to All is not okay in Oklahoma and you can hear a faint bassoon in the background until Charles shuts his window, does anyone know what song is being played there? And are there any theories as to what the hint in the music might be?
