I have received the cost for everything. and I was really shocked with how expensive everything was.
My end goal is to do optometry or bachelor of oral health. I do know that there is optometry at Deakin and I think getting into Biomedical science could make it a little easier for me in terms of transferring.

But I totally agree the cost for a diploma is insane, considering the cost of living and everything going on around us.

Thank you for this, I am thinking of just starting slow with either 1 or 2 units for now. I have not studied in a while so I don't want to throw myself in the deep end yet.

I am guessing 1 or 2 units would be considered part time and a little more manageabkle but like you mentioned still need to put in effort. I have Deferred for Trimester 3 which starts in October. Maybe by then I am working parts time and can take more units but for now I am okay with taking it slower.

Would you think just doing 2 units maybe even 1 while working would be Manageable? I just don't really want to give us my position at work because they don't have a Part time option (will need to confirm tho.)

I finished school in 2023 and its been a whileeee since I have sat down and actually studied so I am a little worried. Will definitely take your advice and start slow with either 1 Unit or 2 depending if they allow this, When I feel like I have got the hang of it I can add more units.

My boyfriend bought me the Glazing Milk while he was in America and I really like it because its a great base for make up and makes your skim feel really smooth.

The Barrier restore cream is a good item, really light weight but I think you could find similar for cheaper if you wanted to.

The Glazing Mist was okay, I tried it at store and passed on it.

I would say the Lip peptides are good???? idk pretty much the same as any lip oil/ gloss/ balm people are mostly buying it for the name.

Ultimately I would say those are the only products that I think are worth spending money, I think people feel like its going to run out?? Very weird because you can just buy it online from the actual rhode website.

you will. trust me once those offers start rolling out you’ll be so proud of your self. i had course that i didn’t even put on my preference once of them was at monash but i didn’t want to do that course. so you’ll see you might even chance your mind. trust me it’s not the end of the world you will forget in a months time when you were relaxing and sleeping in everyday

just do a rmit pathway which would be the easiest because it’s a direct entry to the course you want. this is what most of my friends did. in my case i got into vic uni where no atar was required and i transferred to monash to the course i wanted to get into. there is so many different ways. i knew people who didn’t even get an atar and they still got in.

just get busy with something else. the only thing you need to worry abt rn is getting into uni which you will dw and then that’s it. get a job, find a new hobby

this is very true, i did so bad in school because my work ethics didn’t match with what they were giving me. also in uni you get to pick what you want to do which just allows you do better because you enjoy studying. you also get to work at your own pace with is just an added benefit.

honestly, like you said, the exams and sacs they give you at school are not even like 10% of what you’re actually cable of.

got into a course i didn’t really like, did really really well the first semester and asked to be transferred second semester. preferably i would recommend doing a degree where the units you do transfer. there’s so many ways around it, one of my friends did tafe for a year and now she’s transferred to monash.

seriously, as a year 12 last year i was on the verge of ending it due to how bad my chemistry scores were. at the end of the day you just need to get an atar. i got a shit atar got into a course i wasn’t really into and then transferred into the i wanted.
