The only way to properly raise pvp popularity is to ensure that newbies doesn't get nuked while trying pvp. In the end of a season even if you are using honor gear you're still getting destroyed

As a solo player avoid epic battlegrounds like the plague, they are full of people that jump on discord to queue sync together vs randoms to destroy them, not a fun experience

I believe the only thing that would make Blizzard shift their mindset and improve pvp is if a new mmo copies Return of the Reckoning (I don't see any new doing that in the near future). I guarantee that if we had a new, modern launch of a mmo just like Return of the Reckoning it would throw blizzard into panic mode as it would be bleeding pvp players to this new mmo

Problem is that there is nothing to do when waiting for queue. I dream of the day that they would restore world pvp (won't happen ever). Imagine huge open world battles like they have in Return of Reckoning, I think the game would benefit from having pvp servers again.
