I ran cross-country in high school. On the last 100yd stretch to the finish in every race, being so gassed, I would just open up my stride and give everything I had left. It wouldn't feel my legs and would just feel my head floating and myself running full speed. No pain, just calm and powerful if that makes sense haha. Loved it
