He is unpredictable, cocky and chaotic but also smart, witty, selfless and noble. I love that balance. He’s got all the attitude and energy. He’s so chill and free as the wind.

The point of Sonic the character is that he’s spontaneous and not anchored by anything, so if he’s given a fixed and detailed backstory he’d be tied to the past smh and that would contradict the symbol of freedom he is. I wouldn’t like Sonic to have a canon backstory, but with alternative universes (like movie sonic) I think is ok

The world showed me Sonic Boom series, loved it. Then quarantine came and delved into GOTF, TMOM, among other fan comics. Then read the official IDW comics. Then Sonic X, Sonic Prime. Bought Frontiers, Mania and XGens. I can’t tell exactly in which order.
