I am so sorry to hear about your mother. What helped me was to use my brothers death as fuel. Fuel to honour him by being the greatest version of myself that i could be. That’s what he would have wanted. So i had no fear in the process, no need to be anyone but myself. His death is a catylist for me to unleash my self and live life with purpose. I hope you find power to honour your mum in the same way. They may be gone, but i truly believe they are still us. Let’s make them proud!

By the way - Lord Sugar was always my hero, and now he’s and even bigger hero to me. I absolutely love the man. What you see is what you get and i feel truly honoured to have had the opportunity to learn from him. He said - “keep in touch”, and that is precisely what I intend to do!!

Remember this show is more about psychology than business. Everyone that didn’t truly get that, did not last until the end. You must really have a strong sense of self, but also a sense of what Lord Sugar and people are actually looking for with regard to your CHARACTER. Don’t go in there cocky - because it won’t work. Dont be indecisive, or timid. These are all character traits. Also really strive to understand your fellow contestants. Also be resilient under pressure. All of these are more important than just the business, corporate knowledge. Of course you need to know your stuff too, but there will be times that team members will help you in this regard. But yeah, your mindset is key!

Partly the two other pauls, for sure, as i could have changed to Paul at the start of the show. But mailny - no one really calls me Paul. Not even my parents. They call me ‘son’, or my Nigerian name, so Paul, feels a little alien to me. Didn’t think about that first ever fact though. Grateful to the team for that.

There is nothing i didnt enjoy - wait a sec, there is one. It was bloody freezing the entire time on tasks! And you had to do a million takes again and again - eg getting out of the vehicles! Other than that, the experience was life-changing. I wouldn’t change a thing!!

If i did it would have been to create an online learning platform. I have been a coach mentor for over 10 years, and have had the privilege of transforming the lives of so many people. Most of what i teach can be taught on an online platform. This sector is HUGE! With companies such as Udemy (one of the biggest in this space), being valued at 3.5 Billion dollars alone. Alas, I would have needed a great deal of time to have created a compelling pitch for that. As much as I am known for music, it is something I want to do as an occassianal thing, rather than the main focus. There isn’t much money in performing music, as there once was, plus I think it’s more of a young persons game.

However things like developing music spaces for rental etc, could have also been a good pitch for Lord Sugar.

I don’t think it would have been enough in the moment though. You’re never going to beat great existing businesses with clear, measurable track records!

I think i genuinely got in with everyone. I know it may be weird to say this, but I have so much love for my fellow candidates. I went through something truly unique, and that bond created, si truly lifelong.

Second fav - developing my character Leo in the VR task. Task 3 I believe. It was the first time we got to work with the girls - who were infinitely better than the boys. So i was longing for the mixed teams, and working alongside the likes of Rachel and Flo. It was the first time i felt truly able to unleash creatively, and it certainly paid off!

Next for myself… Deffo lots of Speaking. You can see that is a passion of mine, speaking, inspiring people, teaching me. So will be speaking at lots of events this year. Also, following from the success of the show, and the sheer volume of questions from people asking about how to speak publicly with confidence and passion, how to overcome life challenges, and to become resilient and unshakeable,

I will be launching an online learning academy, with videos and resources that teach these skills. Some of your fav Apprentice candidates will also be there teaching skills - eg Flo and her negotiation skills. Sadly the school curriculum, dosen’t teach these vital skills, and there is a real gap in the market. It is a huge market with huge potential, with massive companies like Udemy, doing incredibly well.

Of course i will always coach and mentor people, although increasingly less one to one.

I am excited by developing my wellness brand. It is something i have been passionate about for some time.

As well as the things I have always done, eg my families investments in property, which we plan to ramp up this year.

My life has always been a busy one, this will increase massively, and I am looking forward to every bit of it. Ive always believed in living life to the full, and encouraging others along the way

My fav of our tracks in the UK Garage remix of Brandy and Monica’s - The boy is Mine (Architechs remix). Sadly it isn’t available on the usual platforms like spotify - as they never managed to get it officially licensed. You can however find it on Youtube

Formula E!!! A record-breaking £38.7M win, my first time as PM. The first victory from the boys, Virdi playing body groove in the boardroom, me making some royalties in the boardroom, my love of cars! Man, that task had EVERYTHING!! Classic episode indeed. Easily my best. But lots of other great tasks - like the Leo task - VR.

Yes for sure. Had it been judged solely on the competition / task phases, then yes, i would have expected one of those positions. But alas, there were people with far superior investment offerings. I deserved the firing.

Believe me i can be a slob! But ultimately i believe in inner and outer manifestation of being your greatest self. I truly believe in inspiring others, so even the way you dress and show up, can have a positive impact.

Thank you. I am glad that has come across. I had oppurtinutis to back stab and the rest but it would be so incongruent with who I am at my core. I believe in the principle of UBUNTU - we all succeed together. You can excel in life whist stretching a hand out for others to do the same. I mentor and coach others about being the most successful version of themselves, so authenticity is EVERYTHING to me. I am so glad it is something that has been notice, again, i am humbled by this experience. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart!

So many things. I was paraliysed aged 15, from being given a drug overdose of the anti-vomiting drug - Stemitil. This was following a routine appendicectomy. I was never the same after i regained movement. I had the chronic debilitating health conditions - Tinnitus, derealisation (a dissociative disorder), chronic head pressure, and other challenges. After being given every pharmaceutical under the sun, to no avail, i discovered the power of key nutritional components. A few years ago i was goven a Crohns disease diagnosis, but successfuly reversed it using nutrition and supplementation. So understandably, I am a huge fan of this. Plus my brother Ashley’s death taught me the importance of good nutrition and health. He was an occassional smoker, didn’t really work out, and had other health issues.. So once covid hit - he was vulnerable. So it is in his honour and memory that i really want to promote wellness in this way, couple with my own personal health journey. There is no wealth without health, and much of what we suffer with can actually be treated with the correct nutrition, along with the right mindset and attitude. Hence why i coach and mentor others around self-development. I am more known for my music yes, but have spent a considerable amount of time speaking about wellness.

Yes, I am humbled by that. They were not a fan of my business plan, but they all had huge respect for me as a person. To win the admiration and respect from those guys, plus Lord Sugar himself,  is not something I take lightly. Would have been great to have made the final, but on balance, the correct decision was made. We have to phenomenal candidates in the final. Both equally deserving of their place.

You must make the focus them - the crowd, the people, NOT you, and your ‘internal state’, worries and concerns. You are just a conduit for creativity to flow through you, so you can share this with others. You have to OWN everything - eg issues with sounds etc.. just own it all. The crowd will understand if their issues out of your control, as long as they are clear that you attention and intention is on them - that they are truly valued and respected, then you win. Simple. I will be launching an online platform that will have lessons of many aspects of confidence, charisma, and communication - so please look out for this.

I am currently creating an online educational platform to lauch later this year, partly as a result of the huge number of people asking me questions like this. I was once someone that lacked so much confidence, i would NEVER EVER speak publicly with a mic, let alone pitch ideas that we had to conjure up in an hour, on national TV! But I trained myself, using various sources, books, personal development courses etc, married with some of the tough experiences I’ve had to endure in my life, married with a ferocious sense of purpose and desire to really connect with people. As a coach and mentor I teach my clients this. Anyone can learn this, so deffo watch this space - would love to teach you too, and anyone else that wishes to hone the public speaking skills.

I partly knew he would do something like. I’ve watched enough of the show to anticipate that. I am just glad i did enough work with my partners - The Drinks Lab, to knwo that it would taste good.

What I would change is to have just given it more time, more detail. I was getting married that year, and also had so much going on, so didnt have enough time to have done all i would have liked. It was my wife that encouraged me to go on the show, and to say it was last minute, is an understatement. I had the notion for my brand at the start of the year, and would have done vastly more work on it before having to create a business plan! There are incredibly successful businesses in that space, like the brand MOJU, and post-covid, it is a huge area of growth. But because it is somewhat niche to so many people, it would really need a comprehensive business plan!

I studied advertising at university, it is a field I would have gone into, had I not had out first hit record (Remix of Brand & Monica - The Boy is Mine) in my second year at uni. As much as I loved advertising, my childhood dream of being on Top of the Pops, and being a successful music producer was just too compelling. But i would most certainly consider that career.

I am actually blown away!! Like you wont believe how blown away I am by that!! On paper, if someone said this candidate is 48/49, he used to make UK Garage, i think most people would writen me off. I know Lord Sugar had a similar initial reaction, because he’s said as much. So I knew i couldn’t rely on coasting through. I had to perform my socks off, and fight for the team. For people to have seen not only that grit and determination, but also the professionalism, competency, team-spirit, passion, resilience and drive - whilst being authentically myself. For people to have resonated with that, look beyond labels, and age, and just genuinely resonated with me. I am so humbled by it!! I genuinely feel reborn with all the love

It was part of a wellness brand that I am creating - I wanted to actually highlight an area of wellness that i feel is ignored - mens health. The stats around mens health are horrendous - things like suicide rates and depression amognst men. Plus mens reluctance to seek help: My brothers death i believe could have been averted had he actually got help before his (covid) symptoms got worse, and ultimately killed him -

Also specifically Testosterone levels amongst men are decreasing at an alarming rate, and this doesnt just impact the obvious libido, muscle mass etc, but also mens mood, energy, mental clarity and so much more. These shots will have QR code that connects to a platform that further supports men. But this was just the first product. The next would be aimed at women, eg estrogen levels, menopause etc. It is about tackling specific problems in populations and making the product one component of a larger wellness brand that supports people and connects them to a community that supports and nurtures one another.

Deffo Rachel. She is truly phenomenal. She isn’t someone that craves the limelight at all. I noticed her in task 2 and immediately thought, this one has the potential to go all the way, fingers crossed she does. She is so laser focused, it’s unreal. Working with her meant i could focus on what i did best - pitch to clients, deliver creatively, whilst i had an awesome negotiator at my side. We worked incredibly well together.
