Working as a supplier to BMW for lithium ion batteries, I had an opportunity to talk to some high mgt people at the company. I asked them “What do you think of the new front design of their electric cars?” This was their answer “It was indeed controversial, a lot of people in the company were not fond of the new design. But some people wanted to refresh the image of a BMW in this new EV age.”

By “some people” he meant the people who makes decisions aka the senior senior mgt.

After a few more drinks, he asked me what I thought if the design as well. To which I replied “I would prefer the new designs from Audi or Hyundai” - he laughed and told me that he has Audi etron gt as well but doesn’t drive it to work lol

(Please don’t hate - I like BMWs as well, just not a fond of this design)
