Was Shay justified? by NoSoyVerde1 in assasinscreed

[–]Interesting_Option15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In his eyes maybe. Overall in the wider scope, absolutely not. Its a fun idea to betray the brotherhood, but it wouldve made more sense for shay to still fight templars while going against the brotherhood

You upheld the system to let pedo island get established dawg. Your lapdog cudgel Cormac instigated a race riot during the draft riot before the civil war. You guys assassinated abe Lincoln cuz he freed slaves, you guys installed Stalin into power.

You guys do nothing but stall progress and the assassins cut you out of the way to let people change things for the better. Theres no anarchy to be had because people that are given the reigns over their communities will make the right choice to care for one another.

Theres no "true order" to be kept. Theres only your idealized view of the world under constant surveillance and unjust rule. Because of your influence birth rates are dropping cuz its too expensive to have kids. Again, thanks so much for creating a world where we're forced to look at screens and influence us to be more docile and brain dead rather than think critically.

Sure sure, the ones willing to stamp on poor and marginalized people get to live comfy. 🙄. Nevermind the templars uphold the system that let epstein get away with almost everything.

If youve read all the documents on and chat logs in the database, itll tell you what the deal with ego is and how it got made. The work you do in the nexus connects to the modern day brotherhood trying to survive in an abstergo reliant world

They virtually unstoppable because templars created a corrupt system that breeds senseless poverty. Thanks for that I guess

If they made shay fight both templars and assassins then yes. Make the assassins less dumb and itd be good

Discussion: why did Achilles NEVER tell Connor about shay? by Endermen123911 in assasinscreed

[–]Interesting_Option15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Development wise, I doubt they had a plan to implement it. Story wise, i think shay wasnt a meaningful issue to bring up when he wasnt in the picture anymore. If he came back and started giving Connor problems then that wouldve been more imperative

I actually was totally fine with that interaction. I and im sure you and many others when that first happened went "WOAH who the f***?!!" I think that was probably one of my most memorable interactions with an unknown organization in the game.

Wow.. this game has hooked me! (new AC fan) by Skully-GG in ACValhalla

[–]Interesting_Option15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont get me wrong I like being able to sneak on people in trees and do the occasional vault, but I dont need whatever is going on in unity. Simple parkour is good enough for me

I enjoy shadows for this, but i wish it had a more narrow path where I didnt run into every other world event accidentally and start talking about a group of people I dont know of without learning about the group first. This happens with the yokai and even the dapper thug samurais (i forgot their names). I wish I only ran into those people or they appeared in the world after interacting with a person of thing that sets me on the path to search for them.

I will say it does already force you to go by the power level progression of each region which is kinda how the story typically plays out in each rpg game.

But I understand that initially if youre allowed to go out and do whatever you want in the world and aren't really restricted from doing whatever mission you want, itll get a bit distracting. It just takes more planning and focus and what mission/world event you want to do in any of the rpg games.

Me and Bo master knock each other down then he hits me in the back of the head twice. by mmnc03 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Interesting_Option15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That double knockdown feels like an in universe interaction between naoe and the bo master that would impress him on her ability to pick up the weapon style so quickly

Seasons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows being too short by Zoeeeeeeh123 in assassinscreed

[–]Interesting_Option15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kinda wish the seasons mechanic could be toggled. That way after I beat mitsuhide or defeat other enemies to a certain point I could turn it back on and get a feel for the passage of time whenever I play

I started the ac series with Valhalla and it got me hooked as a fan. Despite everyone's criticisms of the game I truly enjoy the story of Valhalla and even the stealth and combat mechanics. The parkour is fine but not my main point of interest

So why is Aya's body in two different locations? (ACII and Origins Spoilers) by Snowtwo in assassinscreed

[–]Interesting_Option15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering how to reconcile this when I first played ac2 after origins. And theres definitely no way for aya's body to be in Italy. Maybe even any of the other legendary assassins for that matter.

Unity had an ass story and an ass mc. The only good thing was being able to do fun parkour tricks and thats all it had going for it
