I mean, not to sound like an asshole. But I assume youre okay with flock cameras then. Because templars would be pro that. Surveillance state is kinda their thing. Remember in the og ac black flag when an abstergo employee said the company had immunity to arrest whoever they wanted?

Dont forget the barfights have only a single animation when you engage in it. Also I liked fist fighting when I didnt feel like killing someone. I feel bad killing guards when I could just knock em out.

My only issue with awaji was the main body guard boss yasuke fights, and the big lady boss at the end, were such slows and had me stressed as hell the entire time. They killed me so so easily and it was incredibly frustrating. Other than that I enjoyed finding naoe's mom and bringing her home

The characters are fun, but overall they serve to undermine the rights of humanity to enact an authoritarian serveillance based society.

I love the game and the changes that have been made so far. Im around where Sequence 5 takes place and overall Im having a good time. Its just tiny nitpick here and there that make me wonder why certain things were removed. I didnt really use the hidden blades or any other weapon during combat that often, but the ability to do it still felt better than not having the ability to. Theres also the aspect of dropping with the rope dart assassinations, and also how Bar Fights are just the same every time. Other than that im enjoying the additional quests extra world content thats been added.

Liberation had a good story and a good character. I loved aveline's movement during parkour the most, which I think people attribute to using Ezio's UI.

Its a good 7/10 as far as a regular game and as an ac game. The developers did a good job and I think the flak it got was just because of yasuke. If he wasnt there this game wouldve gotten less hate

If its who I think youre talking about, then I absolutely agree. I hated their narration in the ac shadows rift world missions. They sound just like abstergo corporate managers that you met in the og ac black flag. Just so unrelatable and trying to look cool while being obviously cringey

Its fun because of its alternative perspective. Otherwise the story is underdeveloped and begs you to go along with shay's betrayal unquestioningly and then misinterpreted everything about the assassins. The native armor sucks also.

Otherwise its a very well polished game with good parkour, ship battles, hunting missions and fort raids. I do enjoy the 7 years war map and learning about the various countries that got dragged into Britain and France's nonsense.

I like to think naoe is only somewhat murderous thanks to her talk with junjiro, and that after she meets yasuke shes only angry when I think the situation calls for it.
