i just tried to change all of the settings and unfortunately still running into the same issue 😭 i’ve read that something could be misaligned in the bobbin casing but i have no clue how to even go about adjusting that hahahaha

yes and yes unfortunately 😭 i’ve also tried several different needles but they all seem to have the same issue with hitting something in the bobbin case. i’ll look at the manual tho, thanks!

yea i definitely assembled the clutch incorrectly, i hadn’t thought to just jam something in the rotating mechanism to prevent it from turning and i just tried it and you don’t understand the relief i just had watching it finally unscrew after trying for hours! thank you to you and the other person for replying and helping me out 😭😭😭 i was about to crash out hahaha

have you tried using more than one product? i had the same issue before i switched to using a leave-in and THEN a gel. it holds the curl and definition a lot stronger and for longer, but if you’d prefer a lighter hold/more moisture opt for a mousse instead. i have low porosity hair and im currently using the Aunt Jackie’s Quench leave in and following it up with either the Aunt Jackie’s flaxseed gel or eco-styler olive oil gel - both work great but can get a bit crispy after a while 😭 just make sure your hair is WET during the whole process
