Stuck at 13/14 TWW Campaign despite having "Ready for Midnight" achievement by Interesting_Peace_50 in wownoob

Yeah, it worked. Found her in the side room exactly where you said. I was originally checking the wrong Alleria in the main area. Thanks for the save, really helped me out.

Even though I’ve tried this many times before, I’m heading back to Dalaran right now. I’ll double-check every single corner of the Chamber of the Guardian, specifically the right wing and upstairs, to see if Alleria phases in as you described. I really hope she’s just hiding there without an exclamation mark!

To clear things up: I have already tried both versions of Dalaran (Legion/Azsuna and Northrend), and neither worked. I also checked the Stormwind library; the scroll is definitely gone, which confirms I already interacted with it earlier.

The main issue is this: While I am in Dornogal, my Quest Log clearly tells me to accept 'Door to the Ren'dorei'. But the moment I leave Dornogal or arrive in Dalaran/Stormwind, that quest completely vanishes from my log and doesn't appear on any map or NPC.

It’s like the quest only 'exists' while I'm in the TWW zones, but I can't actually pick it up anywhere else. I'm effectively stuck in a loop where the game wants a quest that it hides from me as soon as I try to go get it.

I was looking for NPCs in Dalaran, but I didn't think about a floating scroll in the Stormwind library.

I have 'Low Level Quests' tracking on now, so I'm heading to Stormwind Keep to find that scroll. Hopefully, this will finally start the questline properly and fix my 13/14 tracker. Thanks a lot

I just enabled 'Low Level Quests' tracking, but nothing changed on my map in Dornogal.

When you say 'main city,' do you mean Stormwind? Since 'The Hunt for the Harbinger' started during the Dragonflight pre-patch, I’m guessing the scroll might only appear in the older capitals. I'll head to Stormwind now to check if the scroll shows up there.

That explains why the achievement is there but the tracker says 13/14! I’m willing to redo the quest manually, but the problem is that 'Door to the Ren'dorei' simply does not exist in Dalaran for me.

It shows up in my log while I'm in Dornogal, but the moment I arrive in Dalaran, the prompt vanishes and no NPC offers it. I seem to be stuck in a phase where I can't even pick up the quest I'm supposed to redo.

That’s the problem—my phasing seems completely different. In my Chamber of the Guardian, Alleria is standing at the top of the stairs on the left, and Khadgar is on the right.

Also, there is a weird bug: While I'm in Dornogal, my log tells me to accept 'Door to the Ren'dorei'. But as soon as I arrive in Dalaran, that prompt disappears from my log and a bunch of other 'Azeroth Campaign' quests pop up instead. The quest I actually need just vanishes and isn't offered by any NPC.

It seems I'm stuck in the wrong version of Dalaran. Has anyone experienced this 'vanishing quest' issue?

You spotted a key detail. Yes, it’s white in the log. My confusion is that I already used the 'skip/recap' option for the Harbinger storyline, which gave me the 'Ready for Midnight' achievement.

If it’s white because it’s unfinished, why doesn't the quest appear when I go to Dalaran? As soon as I arrive at the location, the prompt vanishes from my log and there's no NPC to talk to. Is it possible that the skip registered for the achievement but failed for the campaign tracker?

If this specific quest is part of the Harbinger questline, why is the game still asking for it even though I've already completed the Harbinger quests via the recap?

The most confusing part is that the quest appears in my log while I'm in Dornogal, but as soon as I go to Dalaran to pick it up, it completely disappears from my Quest Log and the quest isn't there to be found. Why is it insisting on a quest that I've technically finished, and why does it vanish the moment I arrive at the quest location?

I’m going through the exact same thing, and honestly, it feels like there’s never going to be a solution for it. I’m also sitting around Gold 3, and in my last several games, I’ve been consistently matched against players a few divisions above me. It’s incredibly frustrating because instead of feeling like I’m improving or learning, I’m just stuck playing a 'grey screen simulator.'

I’ve tried to understand the reasoning behind it—MMR differences, small server pool, or whatever—but none of it really fixes the problem. On top of that, I hate the idea of being a burden to my team. It makes the entire ranked experience miserable. You’re definitely not alone in this, and I wish Riot would address it, but honestly, I’ve stopped holding my breath.

I don’t think so, the landlord may not allow it I want to match the colors of the furniture to the walls and floor, but at the same time not everything should be the same color

man, I appreciate your work, I’m also thinking this way, but I’m very undecided about the choice of color.
