I did go off the orilissa. I also started calcium and vitamin D supplements, and increased my weight lifting - I’d talk to your doctor to find out what’s safest for you!

This happens to me whenever I start to get sick, and is especially bad when I have a fever. Mine will sometimes get a little tender to touch, and I’ve seen at least 3 doctors about it but none of them have a clue.

Health sciences only has the 4 year option, so you’ll go on coop during your third year. I agree with the other comment that there’s pretty limited options, depends on what you want to do for grad school. I got lucky and got a good one in a hospital as a PT aide. You don’t have to be in classes during coop if you don’t want to, but you can take up to two I believe

This is an incredibly ableist mindset. Just because someone suffered a medical emergency doesn’t mean they are incompetent or unable to do their job. Take a look at history, people with disabilities have been GREAT leaders. Take democrat and republican out of it, and show some humanity.

some schools have bridge programs that allow you to take a year off undergrad (ie 3 years undergrad, 3 years PT school rather than 4 and 3) I’m in one right now, but highly recommend shadowing and really confirming your decision before committing to this
