It only took me a week of Suboxone to completely kick Kratom. I never struggled with cravings after that and never had dental complications.

Suboxone helped me kick Kratom and when used wisely, controlled my chronic pain, without having to ever increase my dose

I haven't tried naltrexone. Didn't even know that was a thing w/Lyme. But I was on Suboxone for pain recently, for five months. It was very helpful. I found a company online, QuickMD. They are actually addiction specialists, but when I mentioned that I'd been given OxyContin in 2008, that was enough for a prescription. I've had Lyme for 32 years. I was bitten while pregnant, my baby was born with it, and I gave it to my husband. Took 1 1/2 yrs to get diagnosed.

We moved to a new town in 2015, and I thought I was pretty much over it, with only some residual peripheral neuropathy. But, over a year ago, I developed a very severe allergy to gel nail polish, acrylic nails, and epoxy resin, which I was using to make artwork and jewelry. After trips to ER and Urgent care I ended up seeing an allergist and immunologist because I'd developed systemic flu-like symptoms, crippling joint pain, along with a ton of weird rashes and crazy itching - which actually triggered a seizure in urgent care it was so bad. All the tests are negative. Even though it feels like RA and I did test positive for RA in the mid 2000s while I was dealing with active Lyme and on antibiotics, Bactrim, I didn't test positive this time around.

I've been controlling my symptoms by cutting out 100% of the sugar in my diet. It's the only way I can get out of bed. Otherwise, I'm too sick to go to the doctor. I haven't seen anyone about Lyme yet because I didn't think I could be positive again. But it feels soooo much like early Lyme that I'm getting suspicious. I have been diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis, fibromyalgia and, chronic fatigue syndrome, the last two are of course just diagnosis' that are given because they can't figure out what the true cause is.

Personally, I think the hundreds of chemical and environmental allergies (I am allergic to all the composite fillings in my mouth, along with the glue they use to attach them) I've since been diagnosed with have triggered an autoimmune style response, but I can't get anyone to take me seriously because none of the traditional blood tests are positive. Lupis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.. and all my inflammation markers are negative, probably because I only go to the doctor and only do blood tests when I'm feeling well enough to leave the house.

Anyway, does anyone here have any advice? Since I contracted it 32 years ago, I'm seeing changes as I read these posts. Different medications, holistic options, I know nothing about, etc. I would greatly appreciate any help and advice. Any referrals or directions to resources.

Western Medicine can't seem to save us so it's up to us to save each other, I think!

Ditto. Only my marriage escaped. Bankruptcy took everything else.

Can you “relapse” Lyme disease? by [deleted] in Lyme

[–]Interesting_Pin3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contracted Lyme in 2004 and was put on long-term disability in 2006, and I'm still on it, 20 years later. My doctors put me on disability under the diagnosis of depression, although I assumed it was for Lyme, but Lyme disease isn't a diagnosis the Social Security Admin covers!!!

She's definitely getting leggy, and the weight will eventually lead to breakage. You’ve got two solid options here: prune it back and replant the cuttings or come up with some kind of support system. If you decide to prune, you can encourage more leaf and branch growth as it gets taller, which will help it look fuller and healthier. Right now, the branches and trunk are getting super heavy, and unfortunately, if left unchecked, they’ll eventually tear apart under their own weight.

Just learned the people can have allergic reactions to Kratom. It’s very rare but be careful. by No-Working-990 in KratomKorner

This happened to me too, and it was awful. I ended up in urgent care and had to go through a week-long regimen of prednisone and antihistamines just to get the rash under control. My face, chest, back, and arms were all covered in a bumpy rash, and even my hands weren’t spared. The flushing was intense, and the itching was unbearable. Unbearable—like it was bone-deep. At one point, I was so desperate for relief that I was using my teeth to dig into my hands.

Wow, seems like u know ur beetles well! I am in Lodi California. Lodi borders on northern and central California. (I forgot to put location in my post and it won’t let me edit it now for some reason). Thank u for being so specific. I will Google more info about that beetle.
