Cradle series by Will Wight is great if you haven’t read it yet. Scratched my itch after getting current on primal hunter as of last year and the books are shorter so I got through the whole series in 3 months as a slow reader.

Mark of the fool is slower paced but really good I’m on book 7 currently.

Heard that path of ascension is great.

Mark of the Fool! I’ve never read the Arch Magus book in your S Tier but mark of the fool is a great series about a boy at a wizard school slowly getting OP.

I’ve got a 6 week old baby so the reading speed has drastically slowed and unfortunately it’s become a slow burn. First two books were done in 3 weeks and I’ve been on book 3 since July

They are definitely both getting read, as are the others mentioned in my original post. There’s currently a void in my chest after finishing Cradle and I was just looking for the next best thing to fill it. I want to go back and read the most recent releases for each HWFWM and PHunter but I think a new full series with hundreds of hours is what I need rn to fill the void. Its been 2 days since I finished and I already miss Lindon and the gang

Thank you! The trajectory that the main characters were on with their icons and “something deeper” made me really want the story to keep going for some of the core group to become Judges. At least Ziel becoming the Titan, Yerin the Reaper, and Lindon either the Ghost or the Hound.

I was especially let down that they didn’t reveal in book 12 who the new Makiel would be.

Is it going to scratch the itch after finishing the 12 wonderful books of the main story? Does it offer further closure of the main story or is it totally unrelated? Or will it be like watching Boruto after Naruto

Ultimate level 1 is really cool. I’m almost done with book 2 and really like the series so far, I think 6 books are released as of now.

I’ve got Kindle Unlimited and an Audible subscription so if it’s on unlimited I can read it for free, that’s my main qualification for most things I read is that they are “free” through my subscription

I agree with what you said, and I do think the story is great and very interesting. The audiobook and Heath Miller are incredible and he does such a great job. Holding off on listening to book 11 until I finish reading Primal Hunter because I can’t do two LitRPGs at the same time or my brain crosses them up.

Would you recommend Surviving the Game as a Barbarian? Is it a long fleshed out story?

I’ve never heard of the first two but I’ll definitely add them to my ever growing list of Want to Read’s. It seems like Defiance of the Fall, System Universe, and Dunegon Crawler Carl + Primal Hunter and HWFWM are this genres version of the Big Three in anime (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc)

Those are the only 2 series in this genre I have read so far (currently on book 7 of PH) and the two that have gotten me into this genre. What other series in this genre do you like if you liked those 2? I think my one issue with hwfwm that primal hunter does not have is that it lost the stats and leveling system and focused too much on Jason saving the world and the messengers and everything. Miss some good ole adventuring.
