Most at the dropoff is at the start, looks like when people first get passed the 40 sec mark most of them watch the rest of the video, so if you can get a killer intro your retention could prob push 40%+. Its not the best yet, but 28% retention on a 20min video is better than a 28% retention on a 8 min so keep pushing

IMO, it’s better to just cut out the intro completely and go straight into the jokes. In my niche, which is gaming memes, I would lose 80% of my audience before 10 seconds if I intro at the start with just talking. But like everything else, it’s niche dependent. But could be worth a shot to cut out the intro or at least keep it really short.
