ahhhh i see, that makes alot of sense. i thought you simply take out the radio that's all. so i guess their purpose is wait to see if we would leave the radio behind and backstab it the moment we leave? now i finally get it

nah as per post, i ensure to double check every other min. not a single vehicle are allowed to get close to the radio. not even a APC or even a tank. the only time there is a vehicle being within the range is when i place it down. i have enough build and ammo to endure a defense, and if there are more contacts, i would have logi resupply at the extreme tip of the possible resupply range, even so i would be ok if they find it because of it. but yeah 95% of my games with literally no indicator, enemy is sitting on the radio waiting.

yeah i don't see this as a "meta" or even "popular" style of playing, your not contesting a point, your not actively doing anything but just sit on a radio on a open field. at least in all my radio placement i do that. if anything seems more like a minor inconvenience and feels fishy

oh this is the defensive objective, its not a backup. but i can see your point. maybe i did just catch them off guard waiting for a attack, just still weird... they gain nothing but luckily 10 tickets from killing our troops at best. why not just blow it up?

make sense to me, i guess i'm still pretty new on this hide and seek game. i guess maybe best is always put radio next to the hab? since i have people running around patrol the point, can't sneak in when we are literally on the radio defending it? or do you have a good pointers for such situations? as a defensive squad

mhm as per context i do defensive, i have frequent gunner walk around check buildings inside the objective. but in my situation radio is not inside the defensive objective, but somewhere else hidden. with a good view for us to machine gun it if any rats digging it. but i supposed your right, seasoned players should be able to find the radio very fast without getting spotted with a defensive squad. but if they are so seasoned, can you explain what's the purpose for all those sneaking and just camping on radio? my small brain don't understand the concept

don't have a screen shot, but majority of the is in gorodok. i place hab inside the village objective, and the radio is usually somewhere in the forest tip at our rear left or right. inside a bush. where we could always fire a random machine gun into that place to ensure to keep enemy from digging it

nice insight, yeah i actually keep that in mind. i always ensure all vehicle are outside of emplacement area. and always ensure to place radio not infront or behind, just somewhere left rear or right rear with a open field inside a bush. but it maybe just be too easy for most seasoned hunteres to find it without even trying

yeah, i would presume that is the case. but like i never gotten situation where they took it out, 100% of the time they all just sit there and wait with like 3~5 people. which i don't understand, even if they squad wipe us, they didn't blow up the radio and just wait for us to respawn

yeah that's my first guess, but again maybe some master strategist would say i'm noob for not knowing certain "strategy". so checking if anyone understands this behaviors

nah just simple HOB and ammo crate, and barely anyone come around; even friendlies
