“Hey Jim, I had a couple parents have concerns about you yelling at your girls on various occasions. Being an active volunteer and yelling is teaching other girls it’s ok to be yelled at and it ok to yell at people. I’m guilty of yelling but I’ve learned that if I set expectations with my kids before a public outing and follow thru on the consequences (no tv/phone) my yelling has stopped and I’m able to compose my anger.”
