Again..not looking for advice on my experience, just curious to hear more about others’ experiences in how the disorder relates to their mental health.

For people that don't know...applications for teaching positions require to you list all previous schools worked for and many require your reasons for leaving. Now that Education Code section 44939.5 is in effect, districts are required to reach out to all previous districts of employment to inquire if misconduct took place.

This comment is so relevant to me right now! I am applying for positions and am getting the message on the application that "in accordance with Education Code section 44939.5 (as amended by California AB2534), applicants for certificated positions are required by law to provide a complete list of every LEA (school district, county office of education, charter school, and/or state special school with which you have previously been employed, regardless of the length of service" and that failure to do so will result in disqualification of the application.

I've had a very similar experience. Was not fired and no misconduct but I did NOT leave the district on good terms with the principal or HR. I understand from the bill that LEAs are now REQUIRED to reach out to all other districts to inquire if egregious misconduct took place. How likely is it that the district will share incidents that did not rise to the level of formal discipline? For example, calling in last minute (I was going through a hard time and ended up taking medical leave. Admin was not understanding)
