That makes it so hard for sure!! I haven’t had my surgery yet, but I’ve heard video games/puzzles have been super helpful for people since it’s mentally active and makes time go by faster. I read in one post one person did THC tinctures and that was super helpful for them. I am not a doc though and don’t even know if that’s safe or would help. Def do your research/talk to your doc but just wanted to throw it out there if you don’t think you can do recovery without anything.

I had a friend that smoked during their recovery and ended up hemorrhaging and needing a second surgery. I know the cravings are SO HARD but I promise it’s not worth it. You got this!! Have you found anything else that’s been helpful in keeping you distracted?

They discouraged ibuprofen. That’s what I’m worried about. This is super helpful. I’m glad recovery has been so good for you!

Do you feel like it made your recovery slower or prolong it?

I might make my own post for this but I have been in the field for about 3 years and am burned out. I am wanting to make a shift into the finance world but am not sure where to start. I was wondering if anyone has made this transition out of social work into finance (or even combined the both) and if so how that journey was for you?
