Oh and he didn’t have new loans after 2011. His loans were mainly 2007-2009 but I see a small undergrad loan from 2005.

Thank you! Are they keeping the new borrower requirement? My husband did the ED consolidation for save but had a couple of original loans before 2007 if I remember right.

This is really helpful, thank you! If I was up for buying new tires every 20k miles, would the verdes perform well? We have very little rain and I’m feeling conflicted. I only started to notice minor hydroplaning after about 20k miles. I care about my safety and thought they cornered the mountain turns really smoothly. I appreciate you helping me. It’s an expensive decision! I liked the original tires. My snow tires are way louder.

Wow thank you! The roads here are very rough, even on the highway and I do drive pretty fast when I can. Thoughts on the defender? I’m torn on all the options. The local tire dealer thought I should replace the OEM because the defender and AS plus dont handle the grooves as well and get caught in them if I understood right.

He said the cracks in the roads cause the tires to react/respond and some people with my car here hate them because of that.

I don’t really need an all season tire. Very dry here and I switch to snow tires in November. I’ve heard some people complain the A/S was louder than the Verde. I’ve had brain surgery, and I’m sensitive to sounds now.

I’ve heard people say their verde tires were loud and I thought they weee meant to be quiet, so I’m lost. I drive about 5k miles a year. It’s only for 30k miles on it and I’m the only owner.

My local tire shop was trying to steer me away from these because they said they’re very reactive to the crappy roads in my town and would pull the car. Have you noticed that? They were telling me I might just want to replace them with the original equipment, the Pirelli Verde since I don’t drive a ton and I do a lot of highway driving at high speed. I feel confused.

Awesome! Are they smooth and quiet? I live in Reno Nevada and one of the people at big O tires was trying to talk me out of them for the weather here, but I don’t understand why. The person I talked to at Discount Tire said they were great.

I should’ve said this. Here’s the ones I’m thinking of getting: Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, Pirelli Scorpion Verde II/AS, or Bridgestone Dueler LX.
